This MartinLogan wireless kit replaces a long subwoofer cable in your system setup, which means you'll have more flexibility to place the sub where it looks and sounds its best. It includes a wireless transmitter that plugs into your audio system's subwoofer output or stereo preamp output jacks, plus a wireless receiver that you'll plug into your sub's mono or stereo line input. Both modules in the wireless kit require AC power via the included adapters.

Wireless Subwoofer Kit: The MartinLogan WSK1D Subwoofer Kit allows you to wirelessly transmit audio from your stereo or AV receiver to a powered subwoofer, so you no longer have to run a long length of cable between your receiver and powered sub. The WSK1D Subwoofer Kit consists of a wireless transmitter (TX) that plugs into your stereo or AV receiver, and a wireless receiver (RX) that plugs into your powered sub.

Note: The WSK1D Wireless Subwoofer Kit only supports wireless transmission to one powered subwoofer. You cannot connect additional wireless receivers or transmitters to this system.

Stereo RCA Connection: The MartinLogan WSK1D Subwoofer Kit can be added to any AV receiver with an LFE/RCA output and any powered subwoofer with LFE/RCA input. Both the wireless transmitter and wireless receiver are outfitted with stereo RCA jacks. When connecting to a LFE output on your AV receiver and/or LFE input on your powered sub, you can use either the Left or Right RCA connections on the wireless transmitter or receiver for a single cable connection.

Transmitter (TX): The wireless transmitter plugs into the sub or LFE output of your stereo or AV receiver via RCA, and then wirelessly transmits an audio signal to the wireless receiver plugged into your powered sub.
Receiver (RX): The wireless receiver plugs into the sub or LFE input on your powered subwoofer via RCA, and wirelessly receives an audio signal from the wireless transmitter connected to your stereo or AV receiver.

AC Power Adapters: The WSK1D's receiver and transmitter both include an AC power adapter and both will need to be plugged into an AC wall outlet or surge protector (sold separately).

Hey Joseph, the maximum range of this is between 30-35ft requiring as close to line of sight as we can get between the transmitter and receiver.
