Pendant Speaker: The Yamaha VXH6 is a high output, full-range, two-way pendant-type loudspeaker that provides superb sound reproduction with a wide coverage area. The VXH6 is designed for rooms with open-architecture or sloped ceilings and other locations where a pendant form factor with wide coverage is desired. Excellent sound quality coupled with stylish design and easy installation makes the VXH6 ideal for a wide variety of applications including large retail stores, gymnastics halls, convention centers, exhibit spaces, atriums, museums, transit centers and other open-ceiling applications.

Coverage Area: Engineered for optimum background music and voice reproduction, the VXH6's two coaxially-mounted drivers provide a seamless integration of coverage, resulting in extremely even pattern control and coverage where all listeners hear a consistent, high-fidelity sound quality. The VXH6 is ideal for use where the speaker will be suspended at a relatively low position, providing a wide 120° coverage pattern. This allows allows you to use fewer speakers, while reducing the cost of the installed system without sacrificing performance. The Yamaha VXH8 pendant speaker (sold separately) features an 8" woofer and 1" tweeter, and provides a narrower 75° coverage pattern, making it ideal for locations where the speaker will be suspended at a higher elevation.

Two-Way Coaxial Speaker: The Yamaha VXH6 contains a coaxially mounted 6.5" woofer and 1" soft-dome tweeter mounted in a bass-reflex enclosure, providing high-fidelity sound over an extremely wide coverage area.

70V/100V/8-Ohm: The VXH6 contains a high-quality 60 Watt multi-tap transformer for use on 70V/100V
distributed loudspeaker lines, and is switchable for 8-ohm voice-coil direct operation.

Grille: The Yamaha VXH6 includes a metal mesh grille that can be removed and painted to match the decor.

Euroblock Speaker Terminals: A removable 4-pin Euroblock (Phoenix) connector offers parallel input and loop-thru terminals. The Euroblock connector can accommodate speaker wire up to 14-gauge. For outdoor applications, a top cover and foam seal are provided to help keep the wire connector and tap dial protected. The VXH6 pendant speaker carries an IP45 rating for use in a wide range of environments.

Mounting Options: The VXH6 pendant speaker includes a single-point mounting system for easy and secure suspension in open-ceiling applications. A Gripple suspension kit includes two complete hanging cable systems, providing both main and safety suspension cables. Included are two 20' high tensile galvanized steel cables with spring-clips for the loudspeaker end of the cable and UL listed Gripple cable fasteners for infinitely adjustable suspension height.
