JBL Control 29 Gives you the Bass and Clarity Your Looking For

WOW I LOVE THESE SPEAKERS!!! They ROCK!! Loud, clear, full of Bass. I am sooo happy with them. They are used for commercial use, in my gym Studio rooms. For the price I don't think you can get better and IMO you don't need to spend more for the larger size speaker in the JBL Control line. These will do the job just make sure you get an amp that will drive them properly.

Cons: Can't use in my house without blasting out the neighbors ;-) NONE

Great upgrade to my outdoor music system. Replaced a great but smaller pair of speakers with these larger JBLs. My wife was a bit surprised at how big they were, but immediately recognized the sonic upgrade. Much better bass output and MUCH better extension. Midrange is clear. Treble is clear but slightly rolled off (not a bad thing with so many bright sounding recordings). Can't speak to imaging as I have them mounted horizontally. They can cleanly at very high volume (as in complaints from my neighbors loud). Tony from Crutchfield was great. He called me to make sure I wasn't using zone 2 out on a surround sound receiver to power them. For the record I am using an older Crown power amp rated at 440watts/channel at 8ohms. Mounting and adjusting was easy, and straightforward. Would absolutely recommend these speakers for a large outdoor area.
Pros: Great bass, high output, clear sound. Awesome back yard party speakers
Cons: A bit large, but you can't get this bass output from a smaller box.

Great speakers and great price. I have been bumping these speakers all week to all kinds of music and they sound as if you are at a concert. Really clear and crisp.
