Excellent speaker. I've been using for wedding ceremonies and it's very dependable. Loud and clear!

These little guys Rock !!!
Crutchfield customer from Forest Hill, MD on 12/18/2019
These little guys are awesome. Glad I purchased 2 however. I'm still working them thru the hoops and my first real performance in 5 days. Just testing them out in my basement my wife claims I must certainly be deaf and I did managed to empty the shelves of glass ware up in the kitchen. I'd say a good start, all in all.
Pros: Light, flexible set ups, easy - small gig or larger gig or personal monitors,... can't go wrong
Cons: I'm not much on tablet apps for mixers,.. (where do they put the British eq's) I guess I'll get the swing of this aspect

A decent sounding portable speaker
Guest from St Paul, MN on 12/17/2019
I perform as a solo acoustic musician and I think the JBL is a very nice sounding speaker. It is much louder than my Bose S1 Pro however it lacks a bit of clarity in comparison. I rated 3 stars because of the following : The extremely " long press" needed to turn the unit on is a bit scary... makes you wonder if it is even going to turn on. The Bluetooth has connectivity issues with several of my Bluetooth devices. The effects are global on this unit - which prevents you from having (as an example) only reverb on vocal and only chorus on guitar. Lastly this unit needs to be turned on to charge - it will not charge by simply being plugged in and left over night which I find quite strange
Pros: Light weight / great sound / lots of flexibility with use of the app
Cons: Long time to power up / Bluetooth connectivity issues / global effects / only charged when unit is turned on
