The JRX215 speaker features a 15" low-frequency speaker and a 1" compression driver with a polymer diaphragm for high performance and reliability. The high-frequency driver uses a Progressive Transition high-frequency waveguide to provide clearer sound with less interference. The JRX215 features a crossover network with heavy-duty components that allow high power levels and deliver a clear, coherent sound. JBL's SonicGuard technology protects the high-frequency driver from damage caused by excessive sound levels, and the speaker's 1000-watt peak rating lets it handle all the abuse you can dish out.

Practical math

The rugged 3/4" MDF enclosure features an 18-gauge steel grille and non-resonant steel handles. A dual-angle pole mounting socket allows the JRX215 to be oriented at 0° or at 10° for increased coverage. The JRX215 offers the performance and durability JBL is known for in a surprisingly affordable package.

Two-Way PA Speaker: The JBL JRX215 is a portable, two-way speaker designed specifically for live performance applications. The JRX215 employs a 15" low frequency driver with a 2.5" diameter edge-wound ribbon voice coil for greater efficiency and power handling, and a 1" polymer compression driver for improved high frequency performance as well as system reliability.

Progressive Transition Waveguide: The 1" tweeter is coupled with a Progressive Transition high frequency waveguide which provides superior coverage control (90° H x 50° V), reduced distortion, and smoother frequency response.

SonicGuard HF Protection: Integrated SonicGuard protection circuitry shields the high frequency compression driver from excess power without interrupting the speaker's performance.

Rugged Enclosure: The rugged, acoustically superior enclosure is constructed from 0.75" MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) using advanced adhesives and mechanical fastener technology for extreme durability and improved low-frequency performance. An attractive 18AWG hexagon perforated, steel grille protects speaker components from damage. The enclosure also features non-resonant, all-steel handles.

Input/Output Connectors: The JRX215 speaker is fitted with a Speakon NL4 connector and a 1/4" TS phone plug connectors. There is also a parallel identical Speakon NL4 and 1/4" connector that facilitates a loop-through connection so you can daisy-chain and power an additional JRX215 speaker.

Dual-Angle Pole Socket: A dual-angle pole-mount socket allows the speakers to tilt 10° for more uniform audience coverage.
