Dishing out big bass
Built around a massive 18" subwoofer, the DRM18S-P subwoofer is designed to punch out low end that can fill any room. With power handling up to 1000 watts RMS and delivering output up to 129 dB, this sub is made to crank out the kind of bass that fills the room. The two NL4-type speakON "Input" and "Through" connectors make it easy to add another speaker to your system.
Rugged enclosure
The sub's rugged enclosure is made of 18mm plywood with a tough textured coating that shrugs off scratches and scrapes, while the powder-coated perforated steel grille wards off damage to the speaker so the boom will always keep going. The DRM18S-P supplies a threaded M20 pole attachment for mounting a speaker above the sub, and can be flown via its nine flypoints using Mackie's FB100 flybar and FDKRM flyware kit (sold separately). Two carrying handles help you to move and set up the sub.

Features
Overview: The Mackie DRM18S-P is a professional passive subwoofer featuring a custom transducer housed in a touring-grade plywood cabinet designed for consistent performance in all applications. The Mackie passive subwoofer can be floor-mounted or "flown" using its M10 anchor points for suspending the speaker. The DRM18S-P is an ideal choice for small to mid-size clubs, mobile DJs, bands, houses of worship, A/V rentals, and more.
Driver & Power: The Mackie DRM18S-P features a single 18" high-excursion woofer that can handle up to 1000 watts (RMS)/2000 watts (peak).
Input & Thru Connections The DRM18S-P features a female SpeakON Input connector that gets connected to the output of a power amplifier (sold separately), and a female SpeakON Thru connector (output) for daisy-chaining multiple speakers together.
Mounting & Portability: The Mackie DRM18S-P can be placed on a floor or stage and features an M20 threaded pole-mount opening for pole-mounting an optional PA loudspeaker on top of it. When combined with the Mackie FKDRM18S Flyware Kit (sold separately), the DRM18S-P can be ground-stacked with up to three optional DRM12A-P arrayable loudspeakers mounted on top of the subwoofer. The DRM18S-P can also be suspended or flown using (at least) three of its ten M10 mounting points. The Mackie PA-A2 Eyebolt kit is an ideal option (sold separately) when suspending the DRM18S-P by itself or with one DRM passive loudspeaker suspended below the sub (additional suspension hardware required for the DRM loudspeaker). The FKDRM18S Flyware Kit along with the Mackie FB100 Flybar Kit (both sold separately) let you suspend the DRM18S-P along with up to one additional DRM18S-P subwoofer and up to four DRM12A-P passive loudspeakers. Two convenient carry-handles on the DRM18S-P are provided for portability, one on each side of the speaker.
