Designed to produce big sound in even the roughest conditions, the REVO Series is a great choice for your boat or off-road vehicle.

Rugged and powerful

When it comes to marine-rated gear, you'd expect a company with "Wet" in its name to know a thing or two. And these speakers are further proof that Wet Sounds really knows marine audio. Their exclusive Nylas™ (a combination of nylon and fiberglass) speaker frames and grilles are tough enough to withstand the rigors of life on the water. Injection-molded composite cones and integrated 1" titanium tweeters provide powerful, accurate sound, while long-lasting Santoprene rubber is used on the spiders and surrounds for maximum protection from the elements.

Choose your style

Each pair of speakers includes an RGB LED tweeter glow kit, so you can choose from red, blue, or green right out of the box.To access more color options with the multi-color RBG, you'll need an RGB controller (sold separately). And those super-cool lights will look great behind your choice of 8 grille options. You can choose from a variety of grille styles in black, white, silver, or gunmetal.

Add a remote

The Wet Sounds RF-RGB-MC V2 music controller (sold separately) is a great way to keep the party going on your boat. This handy remote controls your LED speakers using the most advanced PWM remote control technology. You can choose your favorite accent color, or explore five multi-light color change modes or three music modes. Designed for boaters, the remote offers low power consumption, anti-interference circuitry, and long-distance transmission range.

Features

Nylas Basket: The speaker frame is made of Nylas, a composite mix of Nylon and Fiberglass, providing strength and stability.

Rubber Spider: Durability is further improved by the Santoprene rubber spider Wet Sounds developed for their marine speakers.

Tweeters: The tweeters are mounted to the grilles, rather than to a pole piece, thus there is no chance of water leaking through the woofer cone.

LEDs: There are red, green, and blue LEDs in the back of the tweeter casing, to create a glow on the woofer cone. The LEDs can be powered individually, or in any combination you like. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on and a 2-amp fuse should be added in-line (fuse not included). The LEDs can also be controlled using Wet Sounds' wireless RGB Music Controller remote (item number 867RFRGBMC, sold separately). A male 4-pin waterproof SuperSeal plug is on the wire connected to the LED housing, which connects to the included female SuperSeal harnesses.

Speaker Terminals: Similar to the LED wiring, a male 2-pin waterproof SuperSeal plug is on the signal input wire, which connects to the included female SuperSeal harnesses.

Grilles: The grilles are held in place by three screws, accessible under the mounting gasket, but the tweeter and LEDs are mounted to the grille, so it should not be removed.

Size: The REVO 6s fit into the openings for standard 6-1/2 and 6-3/4 speakers (standard car speaker sizes). The frame is bigger than a typical 6-1/2 and the screw hole pattern matches 6-3/4 speakers. Because the grille is not designed to be removed, they won't fit in most car applications.

You can but they sound much better with 100watts to each speaker and way louder.

You can yes but they are made to handle 100 to 200 watts. I had them in my boat with the JLAudio MM50 (25watts a channel) and it didn't sound great. Once I had time to install the JLAudio 600/6 they rock out. If you don't plan to add an amp don't waste your money by some less expensive speakers to match your head unit.

What HZ setting should the amp be set to for these speakers?

I crossed them over at 100htz. I also run a subwoofer with them. But no lower 80htz would be my suggestion. They sounds great by the way.

I understand a separate controller is required to run the RGB Lighting. These speakers are going to replace some Kicker KM61 speakers. The Kicker speakers have a built in RGB control knob at the dash, would the Wetsound speakers work with this same control knob?

If your LED system was working with the Kicker KM61 speakers, you should be able to install the Wet Sounds REVO 6-XSB-SS speakers and retain the use of your current lighting controller. Make sure to connect the four LED wires on the Wet Sounds REVO 6-SXB-SS speakers in the same configuration as your KM61 speakers you are replacing!
