Wet Sounds designed their RECON Series speakers to bring high-quality sound to a low-power applications, so you can get great performance even when they're connected to a marine receiver. If you don't have room for an amplifier and still want to experience rich, powerful sound, these rugged speakers are a great choice for your boat or outdoor vehicle.
Rugged and ready to rock
Each pod enclosure houses a 6-1/2" composite cone woofer and a 3/4" aluminum dome tweeter, designed to handle up to 60 watts RMS (120 peak). All this powerful gear fits into a compact composite enclosure that's tough enough for marine and powersports use. Santoprene rubber surrounds keep things tight and the Nylas nylon/fiberglass frame will stand up to life in the outdoors.
Built tough for outdoor adventures
Each pair of RECON 6 speakers features sturdy, fixed universal clamps that fit a variety of tower sizes. Even if you don't have a wakeboard tower, the clamps can be used on most any suitable tubes or railings on your boat. They're ideal for your other recreational rides, too. Wet Sounds RECON 6 pods can be mounted on off-road vehicles, golf carts, ATVs, UTVs, and RVs, just to name a few.

Wake Tower Speaker: The Wet Sounds RECON 6 POD-BG is a high-performance marine tower speaker designed for full sound in low-power applications.
Two-Way Driver Design: The RECON 6 POD-BG tower speaker utilizes a 6.5" composite cone midbass driver, with santoprene surround and spider, and a grille-mounted 3/4" aluminum dome tweeter for full midbass sound and clean detailed highs.
RGB LEDs: Each speaker pod includes RGB LEDs mounted on the backside of the tweeter that, when powered, will light up the midbass cone. A 20" harness is provided for powering the LEDs, with the common black wire getting connected to +12V. Grounding either the red, green, or blue wires will light the LEDs that corresponding color. Any combination of these will allow various colors to be displayed.
Speaker Wiring: Along with the LED wiring, the 20" wiring harness that's integrated into the upper swivel mount clamp also includes the speaker wires, red positive and black negative, for connecting to your marine amplifier (sold separately).
Rugged Marine Design: The RECON 6 POD-BG marine tower speakers feature a Nylas nylon and fiberglass enclosure with stainless steel hardware to hold up against the harsh marine environment.
Swivel Mounting Clamp: The Wet Sounds RECON 6 POD-BG marine tower speakers provide swivel mounting clamps and hardware. The bracket system allows for up to 360˚ of swivel in either direction and can be attached to tubing up to 2" in diameter.
