Features

Stealth Series Powered Sub: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 is powered subwoofer designed for Side-by-Side's, ATV's, golf carts, and boats. It is a high performance 2-wire, 12-volt audio system for your recreational vehicle.

10" High Excursion Woofer: The Wet Sounds Stealth series powered sub features a 10" high excursion woofer with a polypropylene cone and rubber surround for deep bass performance.

500W Class D Amplifier: The powered subwoofer's 500 watt RMS Class D amplifier is sealed against moisture and dirt for extra protection and power.

Rugged Enclosure: The powered sub's tough and durable molded Polyethylene enclosure is designed to handle the harsh environment while providing superior sound. A durable aluminum grille is used to protect the woofer and match Wet Sounds' Stealth series soundbars.

Rear-Panel Controls: The Stealth series powered subwoofer is equipped with a gain control (min/max), variable low pass crossover (50-200Hz), variable bass boost (0-12dB @ 45Hz), and phase switch (0°/180°). These controls are located on the rear-panel of the powered subwoofer behind a clear plastic panel which must be removed by unscrewing six hex-head screws.

Wired Remote Level Control: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 comes with a wired remote control to fine-tune the volume level of the powered sub with the rest of your system. The wired remote control features an integrated mounting bracket designed to mount under the dash or other flat surface. An attached 16' cable runs from the wired remote's mounting location to the powered sub's mounting location.

Minijack Input: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10's audio input consists of a male 3.5mm minijack connector that is attached to the powered sub via a 5' cable. This male 3.5mm minijack connector plugs to the female 3.5mm line output jack of your Wet Sounds soundbar or other amplified soundbar speaker's analog output.

Auto Turn-On: The powered subwoofer's remote turn-on wire connects to the remote output on the Wet Sounds Stealth series soundbars. If you have a soundbar without a remote turn-on, the powered sub has auto sensing as well to turn on automatically.

Power/Ground Harness: The powered sub features an attached 5' power/ground harness which will need to be hardwired to your recreational vehicle's electrical system. The power (red) and ground (black) leads both have ring terminals attached. The Power wire also features an inline 30A fuse. In addition, there is a remote turn-on wire (blue).

Mounting Hardware: The Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 comes with stainless steel mounting hardware.

Placement Options: The physics of sound tell us that any subwoofer increases its output when allowed to "load" into a wall, corner, or some other structure. Since every vehicle & application is different, we suggest you experiment & move the subwoofer around to find the optimal position.

Break-In Period: It is recommended that the AS-10 be played at moderate volume levels using normal music material for 6-8 hours before high-output demands are placed on the powered sub. Proper break-in will result in better sound and longer life of the product.

Q
I have a wet sounds stealth bar 10 in my boat, can I connect this sub to my stealth bar?
robert  Feb 10, 2025
1 answer
A
Greetings Robert. Thank you for your question. The Stealth 10 Ultra has a 3.5mm audio out that you can connect to the 3.5mm input on the AS-10 subwoofer for signal in.

Q
i want to use the Wet Sounds Stealth-6 UHD on my backyard deck. How can i connect it to my stereo and make it usable with an AC outlet? Will a simple DC to AC converter work? Can i connect it to my marantz home stereo? Thanks.
reggie  Apr 15, 2024
1 answer
A
If you want to power the Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 from AC power the PowerBass APS-100 100-amp power supply in the link below is required, Reggie. The PowerBass APS-100 must be mounted indoors with wires run to your 12-Volt powered gear. If you need help discussing the best pathway for your setup, please give us a call at 1-800-324-9695 and a live Advisor would be happy to help! https://www.crutchfield.com/p_151APS100/PowerBass-APS-100.html

Q
Will this work with a Fusion MS-RA205 Marine digital receiver?
adam  Jun 29, 2023
1 answer
A
Greetings Adam, and thank you for your question. The Wetsounds Stealth AS10 powered subwoofer can work with any 12 volt radio. Your radio would need an RCA to mini 3.5mm adapter cable. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_979YMR197/Hosa-Stereo-Mini-Breakout-Adapter.html

Q
What's the peak RMS rating?
mark  Aug 09, 2022
1 answer
A
This Wet Sounds Stealth AS-10 Marine powered sub is a powerhouse Mark! We tend to focus on the RMS, the more useable number and this one delivers that 500 watts RMS. This provides a fair amount of boom for the water!

Q
Would you need extra boat battery to power this?
russell  Jun 26, 2022
1 answer
A
Possibly. It will depend on the existing battery system on the boat. Our advisors are happy to discuss your project at 1-800-324-9695.

Q
Can you connect two wetsounds AS 10 to one system?
joekim  Jun 25, 2022
1 answer
A
This is possible, but may require adapters to provide enough connections to feed signal to the second AS-10. Our advisors are happy to help plan for two subs. Give us a call at 1-800-324-9695.

Q
What is the power / ground wire gauge? I need to know which distribution block will work for install.
ross  Aug 05, 2020
1 answer
A
I ordered the Zookoto copper distribution block - accepts 0g to 10g and splits to 4g to 10g. 60amp. I ran 4 g for my set up
robert  Aug 05, 2020
Q
how long are the attached cables and can the enclosure be accessed inside the unit to replace with longer cables?
stephen  Jun 22, 2020
4 answers
A
the cables are around 3 ft. They are all sealed so you you would have to break that seal to change out the cables. Mine is in my boat under my helm and the power connects into blocks and then patch cords from the head unit
russell  Jun 23, 2020
A
Cables are about 3ft long and yes you can access if you pull the speaker, I just snipped the power terminals and extended them worked fine.
adam  Jun 23, 2020
A
They should be 5' long. I didn't attempt to try and open, it would void the warranty. This is a wiring harness that includes the ground, positive, the remote turn on signal cable, remote level controller.
robert  Jun 23, 2020
A
The attached cables are only a few feet long if that, I spliced and connected more on the ends of what came with it, I don't see how one could access the inside of the unit.

Q
Will this amplified sub fit under the passenger seat of a 2018 Polaris Ranger ?
bill  Jun 07, 2018

A
I'm not sure, just measure the space and use the specifications for the sub. That's what I did and worked out great! You will love this sub!Enter
bennie  Jun 07, 2018
A
I have a mid-size 2014 570EFI and I seriously doubt it would fit there. You might have to put it in the bed.
jonathan  Jun 07, 2018
A
I would say No... it is an awesome sub/amp enclosure- very well built. But I doubt it will fit under the seat. Possibly the AS-6
dwayne  Jun 07, 2018
A
I am not sure, I used mine under the dash of a Jet Boat. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Take care

Q
Will this subwoofer work with a normal head-unit radio with the typical subwoofer RCA outputs?
colek  May 16, 2017
3 answers
A
Yes, and that is what I did for my installation. You will need to adjust the Bass setting on the Stereo head and than make the final adjustment on the AS-10 for your set up. The AS-10 also has a volume control which allow you to turn down the bass output for different setting environment. This unit is a little hard to install on my cabin cursier, but it was well worth the sound this this puts out. I also added the bigger wattage 6 1/2 inch speakers in the radar arch by Wet Sounds. These speaker run thru a different amp for a total of 900 watts... it kicks
michael r  May 16, 2017
A
yes it did with mine
alan  May 16, 2017
A
yes it will
