Compact package

Good sound in a compact design. I was going to mount it under seat in my pontoon boat but the bass was too muffled. Sounds good behind the captain's chair. If you are looking for a compact subwoofer with a built-in amplifier, this will do the trick. The 3.5 mm lead for the input to the sub was tricky but the exceptional techs at Crutchfield quickly assisted.

It's not that great for the price. Doesn't sound loud at all, paired with the stealth 10 HD

Solid compact subwoofer

VERY solid construction. I will be installing this in my pontoon boat to supplement the JL audio system. Since that wont happen until spring I bench tested the subwoofer and I think it should integrate well. I bought this from the outlet and a few pieces were missing, but Crutchfield customer server took care of that and shipped me the missing parts.
Pros: Solid, Compact, good warrantee
Cons: Connections are little odd No mounting template. Instructions very basic. Controls for crossover and gain and base boost only list the min and max and nothing marked in between.

Great sound and quality

I installed this in my 24' pontoon boat that came with a six speaker system. It made the difference. It's compact enough to give you choices as to where to place it but still puts out great sound. Unlike the cheaper Bazooka it has more adjustments to get the sound dialed in. I would definitely recommend this product. One thing that I should mention for those that are wanting to avoid chinese-made products - this is made in "PRC" which is a not so cleverly disguised way of saying you know what. I can't complete my review without noting how great Crutchfield support and service is - this is one company that never used covid as an excuse to give bad service. Wet Sounds support was also easy to get through to and very helpful.

Compact dynamo

Perfect fit for my 2021 Kawasaki Teryx LE side by side. I mounted it on the center console where they space for a beverage bag. The bass is good for such a small speaker, and it definitely ands to my Bluetooth setup.

Installed this in a long travel sand car. It is hooked up to a Hifonics Thor TPS10 sound-bar. The sub really improved the overall sound quality of the system. I now actually have some bass. Pleased with the overall package. As always Crutchfield shipping and support is top notch. Thank you Crutchfield!

Purchased this sub for a 2011 four Winns h180. Wow! I couldn't be happier with the construction and build quality of this unit. Bass is very loud and crisp for an 8" sub. It's not going to sound like 2 12's, but it adds more than enough low end for general music listening and adds a good amount of punch to hip hop and edm. Overall very satisfied and installation was a piece of cake.

Great little sub

Hard to believe this is only an 8" sub. The enclosure is solid, looks nice, and is well made. It has a subtle look, which is great for keeping it from being noticed by the wrong people. I'm using it in my Jeep TJ, which is a convertible, and a difficult environment to recreate solid bass in. Being waterproof is great, I don't have to worry about it being rained on, and it's small enough to mount in the limited free space in my Jeep. The sound is incredible for an 8" sub. It's obvious Wet Sounds is using a high end driver and a quality amp to reproduce solid bass from such a small package. It's a sealed enclosure, and you can tell with how tight and accurate the bass sounds, much better sound than a band pass or ported enclosure. It's able to produce plenty of volume to overcome the road, tire, and wind noise of my topless Jeep at highway speeds. Sounding great while doing this is no small accomplishment. As a note, this is an 8" sub, and a sealed enclosure. If you're looking for hard hitting dance or rap bass, this sub probably isn't for you, but then no 8" would be. It sounds great with rock, alternative, jazz, country, etc.
