The Wet Sounds VS-69 PRO speaker is a real trooper when it comes to outdoor sound. It's rated for 150 watts of power and features a built-in 70-volt tap for use in a commercial distributed audio system. It's weather-resistant, and the included multi-angle mounting bracket lets you wall-mount it or hide it in the garden with the use of the optional landscaping spike.
This speaker is perfectly matched to the weather-resistant Wet Sounds VS-1200-AMP 4-channel amplifier, which is designed to run multiple pairs of VS Series speakers and/or a subwoofer.

Features
Overview: The Wet Sounds VS-69 Pro enclosed speaker is designed for surface-mounting in outdoor and landscape installations, and can be used in 70V or 4Ω systems.
Drivers: The VS-69 Pro features a 6" x 9" mid-bass driver with a coaxially mounted Horn Loaded Compression Driver (HLCD). The all-weather speaker also features a 6" x 4" aluminum passive radiator that can deliver enhanced low bass. If the speaker will be mounted underneath an overhang, it should be oriented with the passive radiator facing upwards. If mounted to a wall or on the ground with optional ground spikes (sold separately), the passive radiator should be facing downwards.
70V/4Ω Use: The VS-69 Pro includes a built-in transformer for use in 70V systems, as well as a 4Ω bypass setting for a low-impedance connection. A recessed tap dial in the rear panel provides tap settings for 10W, 20W, 40W, and 80W. In the 4Ω setting, the outdoor speaker can handle up to 150W RMS (300W peak). A screw-down cover helps protect the tap dial from the elements.
Mounting: A surface-mount U-bracket is included, allowing the outdoor speaker to be mounted to a wall or under an overhang. The U-bracket allows the speaker to be tilted up to 90˚ for optimal aiming. A steel eyelet in the rear panel lets you attach an optional safety cable or strap (not included). The VS-69 Pro can be landscape mounted using Wet Sounds optional Ground Spikes. After attaching the U-bracket to the speaker, a Ground Spike gets attached to the U-bracket and placed into the ground, allowing the speaker to sit just above the ground surface.
Wiring: The VS-69 Pro includes an attached 16" section of bare-ended 14 AWG speaker wire, for connecting to a 4Ω-compatible or 70V amplifier.
