Customer Q&A

Q
Where do I place these pads and how many do I need ?
rossie  Oct 11, 2022
1 answer
A
So that's a great question Rossie, but also a tough question to answer with little info. Depending on your application of course, but if you are just looking to tighten up the sound in your home theater room these can work well placed on any large flat surface that can reflect sound. Starting with just a 4 pack these can either go across from your monitors or main L and R speakers on a rear wall to catch sound that "bounces back" to your ear. These are also great for recording and vocal mic isolation. In that application you'd essentially want to try and use them on three sides of your mic. You can also use these on the ceiling, but depending on your speaker placement that could provide less absorbtion. Don't be afraid to play some music and try them in different locations if you only have a small amount of the pads, that is a great way to actually listen to what makes the most difference in your room and place them there! I hope this helps, but you can always call us anytime you need for advice. That's 1-800-324-9695.
