Features
Overview: The Gator Frameworks Mic Stand is designed for use as a desktop stand, for podcast and interviews, or for miking bass drums and speaker cabinets. It features heavy-duty steel construction with a weighted base that provides superior stability. The base includes a non-slip rubber gasket along the bottom, helping keep the stand in place while damping vibrations. All steel parts are powder-coated for added protection. A rubberized clutch-type mechanism lets you easily adjust the stand height, while two tensioning-knobs provide quick adjustment of both the boom-arm angle and extension. The 5/8" threaded microphone-clip fitting can accommodate most U.S. and Euro microphone clips (sold separately). Snap-on cable clips on the boom-arm and stand help manage microphone cables.
Adjustable Height: The Gator Frameworks mic stand can be adjusted to suit your needs. The stand can be extended from 13.25" up to 16.25" from table-top. With the boom attached and fully extended, the maximum height for the threaded mic end is approximately 27". Aim the boom downward, and you can lower a microphone to a minimum height of 2", providing a wide range of microphone placement options.
