Probably the most noticeable feature of Gator's Pro-Series rack case is the tough looking outer shell. You can rest assured that your rack mounted gear will be protected by its molded hard plastic exterior. It was designed to withstand loading and unloading, or bumping and scraping against other gear. Gator also uses heavy-duty recessed Penn Elcom® twist latches to make sure your gear is secured inside, even while moving around in the back of a vehicle.

Just as important, however, is the convenience. To use the gear itself, there is rarely a need to remove it from the case. When you get where you're going, you can open the front and back for easy access to both the control side and input side of your rack-mountable gear. Gator has designed their rack cases to stack with each other, so you can easily expand your system with additional gear.

PLEASE NOTE: Rack cases are measured in rack units (U), the standard size for a single rack space (1U=19"W x 1-3/4"H). This is a "2U" case, meaning it gives you room for two rack spaces, stacked vertically.
