Lifting a DynAudio center channel speaker a few inches up from the console and tilting it to ear level. I thought it was pricey, but in the end it works very well. You get what you pay for.

Pros: solid, good design, improves center channel performance

Cons: none

Same improved sonics as their Orea line

Dipal from WILLOUGHBY, OH on 4/1/2024

Verified employee review (What's this?)

This replaced 4 Orea Bronze pucks under my Focal Chora Center. I needed the extra 2" of height that the Aperta 300 provided. This allowed me to push the Center farther back from the glass top media center and still get good sonics. Whereas with the Oreas, I had to place the Center at the very front edge of the glass media center as to not get reflections off the glass. The extra 2" of height also improved the tweeter height with the listening position. The tilt adjustment came in handy as well, when I was trying to level the Center.

Pros: High quality product.

Cons: None.

I'm abeliever

Stokes from Redlands, CA on 3/20/2024

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee review (What's this?)

Setting it up couldn't be easier or quicker. My center sits a bit lower than ear level so the Aperta allows you to tilt the speaker a little aiming it toward the listener. I know it doesnt sound like much but between that and the vibration absorption it made a noticeable improvement in the sound. I was a bit skeptical but I am now a believer. I was also concerned as my center is a large Klipsch and I was worried the Aperta wouldn't give it enough stability but it is very sturdy and it also looks really cool.

Pros: Looks good Better sound angle adjustable

Cons:

Makes a difference

Thomas from Kapolei, HI on 3/19/2024

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee review (What's this?)

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. It raised my center channel speaker just enough and allowed a 4 degree tilt. The proper height and angle for the center channel made a noticeable difference in the clarity of dialogue. A bit pricy for what it is, but then again you'd spend more than that in materials and labor making something yourself.

Pros: Does what is should

Cons: none

Clarity & Detail Noticeably Improved

Ryan from ALEXANDRIA, VA on 1/1/2023

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee review (What's this?)

I was having some issues with my center channel (Focal Aria CC 900) having a somewhat chesty, muddy lower register. I suspected it was because I had it positioned flat on the entertainment stand (akin to placing a speaker flat against a side wall). I tried propping it up with books, etc., with some improvement, but not much. So I eventually decided to give the IsoAcoustics stand a try. I honestly was surprised how well it worked; it completely mitigated the chesty vocals and muddy bass. Basically clarity improved and I feel like I was finally hearing the speaker. However, with the bass issue resolved, some secondary issues I hadn't been aware of became more apparent --- proximity to wall, height (relative to ear level), proximity to stereo speakers, proximity to listener, etc., all became more noticeable. That's part of the challenge with home audio...it's part art, part science...anyway, the IsoAcoustics stand worked wonders. A few months ago I actually rearranged my room, and with the new setup I didn't have space for the IsoAcoustics stand. I kept this arrangement until a few days ago, when I rearranged the setup again, this time with room for the IsoAcoustics stand. I was happy without it, but once it was back in my setup I immediately realized what I had been missing --- clarity & detail jumped up, giving the center speaker a more natural, full-range sound. Bottom line: the stand is well made, quality product and works exactly as described. Highly recommended.

Pros: Study, well-made, suction cup feet stick well to the surface & to the speaker. Noticeable improvements to speaker clarity & detail; removed chesty vocals and bass bloat; center speaker now sounds more natural, dynamic, and full range. Works exactly as described.

Cons: Pricey...but it's a solid product that should last a long, long time. I've only use this stand with my center channel; I don't know how well IsoAcoustics stands work for other speakers, subwoofers, etc. For my center speaker it works very well.

There are a lot of audio snake oil products on the market. These ARE NOT one of them. I am by no means an audiophile, but the sound quality of my already delightful SVS Ultra center speaker was immediately improved once it was mounted on this stand.

Nice sturdy stand. Looks better in person. Got my big old subwoofer up off my carpet. But it will be more useful in my sister's pole barn, keeping that sub off the concrete floor soon. Will keep any moisture away.

Noticeable improvement in sound quality

Scott from Granbury, TX on 4/16/2022

Verified employee review (What's this?)

I was looking for something to tilt my Klipsch center channel speaker on top of my entertainment center downwards towards the seating area a little more. My Crutchfield advisor Stone recommended the IsoAcoustics Aperta 300 speaker stand. He told me I would notice a difference in the sound quality. All I can say is WOW! On top of focusing the sound the downwards, the sound quality improved drastically. Dialog is so much clearer, and it was pretty good before. Even my wife said she noticed how much better our home theater sound was after adding the Aperta 300. That is saying a lot because she would not normally notice the difference. I am very glad I took Stone's advice. An unexpected and big improvement in the overall sound quality. I think you will be happy with the results if you purchase this.

Pros: Tilt feature is nice. Easy to assemble. Noticeable improvement in sound quality

Cons: None so far.

Great improvement to audio quality

Julian from Derry, NH on 4/6/2022

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee review (What's this?)

My center channel speaker was sitting directly on the top shelf of my TV stand, right below the TV screen, and as a result it fired into my chest more than my ears. Quiet dialogue was sometimes hard to pick out and was clearly coming from below the TV, detracting from the experience. I was most interested in this isolation stand for the tilt feature so that I could get the center channel firing more directly at my ears. Not only was that a resounding success with the adjust-ability here, but I was really surprised by the difference in overall audio quality. The whole sound stage is wider and directionality is much better. I thought things sounded pretty good before, but they were kinda a muddy mess by comparison!

Pros: Very easy to setup

Excellent Product From IsoAcoustics

Thomas from Henderson, NV on 3/4/2022

This was the perfect product to fix a problem that I had. I have my center channel Polk Speaker on a shelf over my Samsung 65 inch TV. As such, the top of the TV was obscuring about four inches of the lower part of my speaker. The challenge was to raise the speaker and to tilt it down at my listening position. This device did exactly that. It is a very well made product that was just what I needed. See my photos below.

Give your center channel a boost

Crutchfield customer from Fort Myers, FL on 10/27/2021

Verified customer (What's this?)
Verified employee review (What's this?)

Well it does what I thought it would do, give me a focused sound. Fuller bass, focused voicing which helps with dialog. Understanding the movie vocing, plus it was raised up at my ears vs straight on to the bottom of my sitting position. Only thing is the pricing is alittle to high by 25 bucks, but hey I'm the consumer that wants it always cheaper. Lol It works !

Pros: Better voicing, better bass, more audible understanding of dialog.

Cons: Price alittle to high but what do I know I want it all cheaper. Lol

Verified employee review (What's this?)

Overall, the Aperta 300 are decent speaker stands...they definitely make a difference in the sound. The ability to angle the speaker is a plus and they do have a nice overall look. One thing to be aware of is that there are only three adjusting screws for each of the stands that has six support posts...the other three are just spacers. For $160/stand or $320 for a pair, I would think that all six of the posts would have an adjusting screw as opposed to just half of them. In checking, I was told that IsoAcoustics only provided three per stand and that there aren't any adjustment screws available....even as an aftermarket item.

Pros: sound improvement over speakers sitting on the floor, nice look

Cons: only three adjustment screws for the six support posts, cost

I have the Klipsch 504 c. the Iso 300 was the perfect match. I had my center channel speaker sitting directly on top if my entertainment center. When doing this, the speaker wasn't ear level, and sounded a little distorted. Now I get the clarity and bass the center channel was meant to have!

I hear an instant difference. It's nice to see a product deliver as claimed. My center speaker sat on aluminum cones with rubber tips. So, it had some isolation before and same elevation, but the change required a recalibration because the center speaker stood out very noticeably with this upgrade. I've recommended it to my audio buddies. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Pros: Inexpensive upgrade

Cons: None
