From Boom to Punch
Jared from Folsom, CA on 1/6/2025
What a difference this makes! Most importantly it allows me to watch movies at "fun" volumes after the kids go to sleep! Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of shaking the house when a big explosion goes off on a movie, but not everyone loves the rumble like I do. These do in fact reduce the boomy rumble, but where I am pleasantly surprised is how they clean up the low end-mid range. And, bonus, explosions and crashes have an even greater punch. These boosted the whole set up a notch. Thanks Crutchfield.

Worked for me
Stephen from Dunedin, FL on 1/22/2024
I needed help. My house shook to some music but tv and movies SHOOK the house. Cabinets, even the glasses in the cabinets, the walls shook the art work, it was bad. I have a Klipsch r 100sw, on top of cement foundation and floating vinyl planks. Wood frame walls and metal cd drawer round out the issues. The IsoAcoustics Aperta Sub isolation device has made me very happy. 90% of the rattling has stopped, without compromising bass or volume level. Turning down volume eliminates the other 10% of rattles which is mostly the cd drawer. It took no more than 30 second to set up. Luke turned me away from what I thought about buying and steered me to what I really needed, thank you Luke. Oh, music sounds better too with solid, crisp bass across many genres. Highly recommend!
Pros: Easy set up Fixed my issue
Cons: None

IsoAcoustics for the win
Harvey from Northport, ME on 7/16/2023
As with my IsoAcoustic Gaia III's, the Aperta is worth every penny. It tightened to lows and allowed me to drop the overall level several db. The punch is more natural and defined.
Pros: Does exactly what it says.
Cons: None.

Good, but spiked feet are not designed well
David from SACRAMENTO, CA on 6/5/2023
The acoustic isolation of my Klipsch subwoofer provided by this unit seems to be working all right. But the four spiked disks cannot be fastened to the rubber disks on the main unit in any discrete way -- rubber bands, double-stick tape, rubber cement, etc. -- with the result that you have to set the spikes down first, then move both spikes and main unit around repeatedly to get them to properly line up. For this price, I believe the spiked feet should have been designed to fasten to the regular rubber feet in some way, which would make placement on a carpeted floor ten times easier.
Pros: Isolates a subwoofer as promised
Cons: Hard to set up spiked disks on carpeted floor.

Mud Flaps for your sound system
Randall from Allen, TX on 1/25/2023
Received the Aptera Sub in two days as advertised and had it set up under my sub in 45 seconds. I immediately noticed a reduction in low end mud. The sub is much cleaner now and articulates the lowest frequencies much more accurately. My estimate would be that the sub is now 10% to 15% cleaner than before. The only con would be the price but hey - with the massive inflation the current government has created, everything is more expensive these days.
Pros: Honestly cleans up your system. I was worried that the small footprint of the Aptera might cause the larger sub to be unstable but that is not an issue.
Cons: The only con would be the price but hey - with the massive inflation the current government has created, everything is more expensive these days.

Loads of tight thunderous bass is back
Dipal from WILLOUGHBY, OH on 11/8/2022
I bought 2 of these after how much better by center channel improved was with IsoAcoustics Orea Bronze. They sit below 2 Klipsch SW-110 subs on carpet which are in my basement so concrete after that. I skipped the spikes as my carpet is low, and I only have 4lb density carpet pad. I immediately heard tighter bass, less muddy, and more of it. After I ran Audyssey MultiEQ-XT room correction on my Denon it was way better. I watched Man of Steel on Blu-ray and was floored from how much LFE information I was missing when I first watched this movie years ago with the same speaker setup. Shazam on Blu-ray was the same thing. After this experience I am going back and re-listening to all my movies! :) Subsequently I have small center and surrounds, and since the cross over for the center and surrounds is 90Hz and 100Hz; it cleaned up the low end on these as well. Note: this did not stop the vibration of the room or surrounding items but did help with reproducing cleaner tighter bass.
Pros: High quality.
Cons: Its a bit pricey.

IsoAcoustics Aperta Sub
Tomasz from Rumford, RI on 4/10/2022
Great product. To start it is very low profile so so once my subwoofer is resting on it there is not much to see. It really helped cut down on the boomminess of the sub caused by our hardwood floor. Now big drums sound like big drums and the bass sounds like bass.
Pros: Works great at isolating the base from the hardwood floor. Looks nice and it does not grab your attention.
Cons: None that I can think of so far.

I would recommend especially if you have hardwood floors.
Kevin from Raleigh, NC on 3/25/2022
I was hesitant after reading some reviews on this item so I purchased one for a two sub room set up (even though I knew Cructhfield would allow it to be returned if not pleased). After hearing the slight but improved sub sound I ordered the second one. I can now hear the sound improvement much more with both in place. I would recommend this product as long as expectations are reasonable. These were used on two 12" Bowers & Wilkins subs. Less floor vibration (hardwood floors) and improved definition.
Pros: Feel they were worth the money.
Cons: None that I can find.

Keeps bass tight
Matt from Melrose, MA on 3/1/2022
I noticed my new B&W subwoofer wasn't sounding as defined as I'd hoped. However, my room layout isn't ideal and I've had great success taming tower speaker boom with the IsoAcoustics GAIA feet, so figured the same approach might help here, too. It did! No lack of bass, just more focused, tighter, and with punch. So simple but very effective.
