Overview: The Samson Concert 88a Handheld microphone kit is designed specifically for use with Samson's XP310w and XP312w powered PA systems (sold separately). It includes a Q6 dynamic handheld microphone and a CR88 receiver module that plugs directly into the XP310w or XP312w control panel.

Q6 Handheld Microphone/Transmitter: The Q6 handheld microphone is a lightweight microphone with built-in transmitter that's designed for live vocal applications. It features a neodymium dynamic mic element, for a wide dynamic range, and a supercardioid pickup pattern that offers excellent off-axis sound rejection. The microphone's multi-axis, shock-mounted capsule minimizes handling noise. A built-in Mute button on the mic lets you temporarily mute the incoming signals. The Q6 features a built-in wireless transmitter that comes pre-paired to the included wireless receiver module. The transmitter and receiver operate in the 470-494MHz UHF frequency range (K band). An internal battery compartment holds two AA alkaline batteries (not included) that can provide up to 8 hours of use. The microphone features a rotary control for adjusting the transmitter input sensitivity. The input sensitivity can be adjusted using the included screwdriver which can be stored inside the battery compartment. The microphone input sensitivity comes factory preset to the optimum level.

CR88 Wireless Receiver: The Samson Concert 88a Handheld microphone kit includes a CR88 removable, wireless module, designed to plug directly into an XP310w or XP312w PA system's control panel. The receiver module lets you select and display the Channel and Frequency, as well as providing an Audio Meter, RF Signal Meter, and Transmitter Battery Level. The Concert 88a system has a working range of approximately 100' of operation (line of sight), with an audio frequency response of 50Hz-15kHz.
