Features
True Marine: Fusion describes these speakers as True Marine Accredited, meaning they are designed specifically for the marine environment and backed by Fusion's three year warranty. The speakers are tested to ensure they meet or surpass IP65 standards (waterproof and dustproof on the front of the speakers) and comply with ISO12216 standards for watertightness in areas II, III and IV of the vessel.
Curv Woofer Cone: CURV technology incorporates a woven fiber composite, heat pressed to form a lighter and stronger cone. This improves sound definition and increases output, along with creating better resistance to the marine environment.
Sealed Crossover: The crossover is sealed to provide full protection from the harsh marine environment.
Grilles: The two "Classic" mesh grilles can be removed by simply twisting and lifting them off, providing access to the mounting screw holes.
Compass Safe Distance: The minimum distance the speakers should be mounted from a compass to avoid any interference is listed in the manual as just under 12 feet.
Speaker Terminals: Each speaker has a seven inch length of speaker wire attached that mates with the included six inch harness using 2-way DT Series Deutsch Connectors.
Stainless Steel Hardware: The provided mounting screws are stainless steel.
Enclosure: Enclosure recommendations are given in the installation manual (an enclosure is not necessary, the speakers will operate in free-air):

- Ported: 1.06 ft³ (with a 3" diameter 6.3" long port tube)
