Features
True Marine: Fusion describes the subwoofer as True Marine Accredited, meaning it's designed specifically for the marine environment and backed by Fusion's three year warranty. The subwoofer has been tested to ensure it meets or surpasses IP65 standards (waterproof and dustproof on the front of the speaker) and comply with ISO12216 standards for watertightness in areas II, III and IV of the vessel.
Polypropylene Cone: Polypropylene cone technology incorporated into the subwoofer provides high-fidelity bass reproduction along with exceptional self-damping properties. The polypropylene cone is attached with a heavy-duty Santoprene-rubber surround.
Grille: A spoke-style grille is fixed to the subwoofer and is not designed to be removed.
Compass Safe Distance: The minimum distance the subwoofer should be mounted from a compass to avoid any interference is listed in the manual as approximately 15 feet.
Subwoofer Terminals: The Fusion marine subwoofer has a seven inch length of speaker wire attached that mates with the included six inch harness using 2-way DT Series Deutsch Connectors.
CRGBW LED Illumination: There are multi colored LEDs mounted in the back of the subwoofer grille, to create a glow on the cone. Depending on what combination of wires is connected, the LEDs can light red, green, blue, yellow, magenta, cyan, cool white, or warm white. Similar to the speaker wire, the LED power harnesses use 6-way DT Series Deutsch Connectors. A 12 volt power supply is needed to turn the LEDs on and Fusion recommends a switch and a 3-amp fuse in the power wire. The LEDs can also be controlled using Fusion's optional MS-CRGBW RC remote (item number 917CRGBWRC, sold separately).
Stainless Steel Hardware: The provided mounting screws are stainless steel.
Enclosure: Enclosure recommendations are given in the installation manual:

- Ported: 8.83 ft³ (with a 4.0" diameter 5.0" long port tube)
