Features

True Marine: Fusion describes these speakers as True Marine Accredited, meaning they are designed specifically for the marine environment and backed by Fusion's 3 year warranty. The speakers are tested to ensure they meet or surpass IP65 standards (waterproof and dustproof on the front of the speakers).

Compass Safe Distance: The minimum distance the speakers should be mounted from a compass to avoid any interference is listed in the manual. (Approximately 9⅔' from the sides and 12¼' from the front and rear of the speakers.)

Speaker Terminals: The subwoofer has four inch lengths of speaker wire attached, terminated with male quick slides (0.25" positive and negative). At the factory, one negative wire and one positive wire are shorted together using posts on the back of the sub, wiring the dual 2Ω voice coils in series, to present a 4Ω load.

2.1 Channel Operation: This subwoofer features dual 2Ω voice coils, preconfigured to present a 4Ω load. You can change the wiring configuration to support 2.1 channel operation (two full range speakers and one sub) when connected to a Fusion stereo with DSP capability, such as an Apollo RA770.

Stainless Steel Hardware: The provided mounting screws are stainless steel.

Enclosure: If the speakers are mounted in an enclosure, Fusion recommends 40 liters (1.41 ft³) sealed. An enclosure is not necessary, the speakers will operate in free-air.

Power Handling: Fusion publishes several power specifications for this woofer, 120 watts RMS, 600 watts peak, and 40-300 watts recommended amplifier power (RMS). We've listed the conservative combination of 40-120 watts RMS in the specs table.
