Overview: The NETGEAR Orbi 750 Series Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6 Mesh System (RBK753P) consists of a router and two satellites. The system covers up to 7,500 square feet of reliable, high-speed Wi-Fi with speeds of up to 5.2 Gbps for streaming your favorite content, browsing your favorite websites, and working without worry of interruption. For additional coverage, you can add two more satellites for a total of 12,500 square feet. The NETGEAR Orbi RBK753P Mesh System is equipped with 128-bit AES encryption with PSK (WPA2/WPA3).

Router and Satellites: The Orbi 750 Series Wi-Fi 6 system includes one Orbi Router (RBR750P) and two Orbi Satellites (RBS750P):

• AX5200 Router: The RBR750P Router creates a dedicated high-speed Wi-Fi connection for your home internet service. It offers six streams of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with speeds of up to 5.2 Gbps (AX5200) for smooth streaming of 4K/8K video and lag-free gaming. The router is equipped with four high-performance internal antennas with high-powered amplifiers. Three RJ-45 1-Gigabit Ethernet ports are provided for connecting your LAN devices, and one RJ-45 1-Gigabit Ethernet WAN port for plugging in your modem. The Tri-Band router provides three simultaneous wireless bands: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for connecting your Wi-Fi devices, plus a dedicated 5 GHz band for faster data connections between the router and the satellites. The router, by itself, covers 2,500 square feet.
• AX5200 Satellites: The RBS750P Satellite extends the Wi-Fi signal beyond the router's coverage area to reach other areas of your home. All satellites must be placed within the range of the router so the units can communicate with each other. The Orbi satellite is preset to automatically find and sync to your Orbi router. Each satellite adds another 2,500 square feet of coverage. Up to 4 satellites can be connected to the Wi-Fi 6 System for a total coverage of 12,500 square feet. Like the router, the satellite offers six streams of Wi-Fi 6 at speeds of up to 5.2 Gbps (400 Mbps+ 2400 Mbps + 2400 Mbps). Each satellite has four high-performance antennas and high-powered amplifiers. The RBS750P offers two 1 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for plugging in your LAN devices.

Orbi Tri-Band Mesh Technology: NETGEAR's Orbi Tri-band mesh technology creates the ultimate Wi-Fi experience. In addition to the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands, the system has a second 5 GHz band dedicated to deliver maximum speeds between your router and satellites. The specs of each band are:

Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax): With speeds 3.5 times faster than Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) is the ideal solution for your ever-growing smart home. You can simultaneously connect over 75 devices without affecting speed or reliability. Additional Wi-Fi technologies include:

• MU-MIMO:  Using Multi-User Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) technology, the router can stream data to multiple devices simultaneously. Your Wi-Fi network can deliver faster throughput to every MU-MIMO connected device. That means faster downloads and smoother streaming for your devices.
• Beamforming: Beamforming boosts speed, reliability, and range of Wi-Fi connections on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. The result is a stronger, faster, more reliable connection that is locked in even when the device is moved around the home.

NETGEAR Orbi App: The NETGEAR Orbi - WiFi System App (for Apple iOS 14.0+ and Android OS 6.0+) helps you to setup and personalize your Orbi Home Wi-Fi System. The Orbi app makes it easy to set up, organize, and manage your network. The app gives you convenient access to the router's features, including Smart Parental Controls and Armor Security. The app includes a Speed Test to assure you're getting the speeds you're paying for, and a Traffic Meter to monitor your internet usage. The Orbi WiFi System App contains controls for pausing and restarting your WiFi and offering the network to guests, if desired.

NETGEAR Armor: NETGEAR Armor, powered by Bitdefender, is an advanced cyber-threat protection for your home network and all your connected devices (including computers, smartphones, and tablets). It protects your devices from being hacked, and guards your sensitive information, like credit card, bank account, and social security numbers from being stolen. Armor's VPN (virtual private network) encrypts your internet connection and ensures your internet activity and identity remains private. Smart Parental Controls: NETGEAR's Smart Parental Controls lets you manage your family's internet time. Built into select NETGEAR Wi-Fi routers and systems, Smart Parental Controls offer a number of ways to manage your children's online activity and promote good online habits. NETGEAR offers two levels of Smart Parental Controls (SPC):

  • Pause Internet: Lets you pause the internet when it's dinner time, study time, etc, and un-paused with the tap of a button.
  • Create Profiles: Lets you create custom profiles for each family member and manage online time by individual.

  • My Time App: The My Time app (for iOS 13.0+ and Android 6.0+) can be installed on your child's device, letting them see their screen time and time limits. The My Time app also ensures your internet rules apply even when they're connected to networks outside of your home Wi-Fi.
