"Shockingly Stunned"

After 30 years of owning my beloved Infinity Composition Prelude P-FR Loudspeakers that needed a tender bit of loving care & having purchased a PB-1000 Pro Subwoofer several years ago, I was 100% sold on SVS products and their customer service & support. I told myself that when the time came for a new pair of speakers, they would be my first choice. After reading the rave reviews on the Ultra Evolution Speaker Line, I decided to jump in feet first. With a 45 day trial period and a 5 year warranty, it was a no brainer. After one week of ownership, I am so very happy with these Titans once the phantom center "appeared" after several hours of break-in. I was shockingly stunned at the detail, clarity, placement of vocals & instruments, all "visually and aurally" perfectly placed on the soundstage. Kudos and congratulations to SVS for this amazing line of speakers!

Worst experience ever - just go to your local store

I do not recommend buying anything from Crutchfield. I usually buy my electronics from my local big box store, but for some reason, I wanted to give Crutchfield a try. The experience has been really bad. First, their so-called "experts" are really biased and will try to sell you things you don't need. For instance, these speakers support bi-wiring, but they recommended a single wire produced by them, very convenient. The shipping process is really awful and the worst part of this experience. These speakers are really heavy, and UPS dropped a pallet in the street (yes, in the street, not even the driveway). I had to push it inside the house and up to the second floor. It was raining, so it was a terrible experience. In contrast, with my local store, for instance, I got free delivery and white-glove service when I bought my LG G4. They installed the TV, did the setup, and even got rid of the boxes. After installing the speakers, I had to deal with multiple issues - their "experts" are just using Google to find basic answers, so it has been really frustrating and a waste of time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Crutchfield, and this is my first and last purchase.

SURPRISINGLY GOOD a MUST TRY

I'm stepping down from a much larger (and more costly) speaker from a strictly audiophile brand. Honestly, at first I expected I was going to return these because out of the box they sounded atrocious. HOWEVER I decided to just let them play for awhile on their own to get "broken in" so to speak. Was I surprised how much the sound had shaped up at about 50 hours and by about 100 hours they were sounding good and by 200 FANTASTIC. For their reasonable cost they were performing right up there with brands costing two or three times the price. Mine are white and they have an understated elegant look and the slight curve necessitated by the time alignment gives them character. Be aware this is the type of speaker that will reveal any shortfalls in your system so the better your gear upstream the better the sound. I'm thoroughly SATISFIED with my purchase.

SVS Ultra Evolution Titan

High end sound in music and movies... Highs are detailed, sparkly, airy, but not fatiguing. Mids are clear, articulate and natural (not shouty). Bass is tigtht , deep, fast, energetic and clean. Sound stage is huge, imaging is first class...they punch above they're weigth class.

Incredible Sound

These are the best speakers I've ever heard. They have clear, clean mids, accurate bass, and a vibrant tweeter that does not tire during prolonged listening. I've used them for music and home theater. Stupid happy with my purchase.
