Great Fit and High Quality Sound

I talked to Ace at Crutchfield, in an attempt to find a 6.5" speaker with a minimum of a 5.5" cut out. Ace recommended these to replace the antiquated Boss MR60W 6.5" speakers in my boat and they fit perfectly and deliver a high quality sound!

Best 6.5 Marines Out There

Installed these on our 20' Sportsman Masters 207 with a NVX VMPS35 headunit. Mounted on the sides of the center console, with stock power from the headunit (25w RMS), these things get LOUD. The bass is the best I have heard from a 6.5" Speaker Ever. The LED lights are great but you have to run a separate wire from your positive bus or battery and your negative bus or battery for each speaker. The lights are bright at night and match our deck lighting perfectly. I was a little hesitant to order Memphis Audio at first, just because they are one of the huge players like JL, JBL, or Kicker. But I was very pleasantly surprised. Because the tweeter and the midwoofer are separated, they are almost like a component set in a car. Miles better than the Pioneer 6.5s we have on our other boat where the tweeter is connected to the woofer. Overall, a wonderful set of speakers. I plan on getting a few more sets of these in the future. Definitely recommend getting those Posi-tite connectors, makes the wiring a breeze.

Crutchfield's the best!!

Great speakers for the price, and as always crutchfield's customer support team is the absolute best. Had to exchange the alpines I originally ordered for these because the alpines cutout diameter was too small for what I needed. Contacted Crutchfield and the exchange was done within 5 days without a hiccup. Couldn't be more pleased with the speakers and the service.

Haven't hooked up the LED lights but sound is very good
Pros: Easy to hook up and the sound was very good for the price
Cons: Have to run separate switch for lights but it says that in the description

Speakers are in They sound great even loud. No vibration
Pros: Water proof easy installation sound great
Cons: Would have preferred a small water shield at top. So water doesn't run down side of boat into speaker

The Grills are not aluminum they are plastic. The product highlights are wrong. They look cheap.

These speakers are amazing for the price. I swapped them out for an old pair in the boat and plan on adding another pair to the boat. LED lights are sweet and the clarity is great.
Pros: Great treble and quality for price is unbeatable. easy set up durable as hell unbeatable price for such quality. super loud and do not lose quality.
Cons: the only reason i did not give these speakers a 5 star is because of the lack of bass at the top end. They are great for treble so you will need a sub to replace the lack of bass because at a certain point you can hear he speakers lose quality with to much power and the bass just rattles the tweeter so hard it will lose all quality.
