Features
Overview: The Memphis Audio MXHD14LIDKIT is a complete 6x9" bag lid speaker solution designed for select 2014-up Harley-Davidson motorcycles equipped with hard-shell saddle bags. The system includes a pair of outdoor-ready 6x9" RGB backlit speakers; cutout template and mounting brackets; stylish mesh grilles; and pre-measured and configured wiring harnesses for both audio and RGB lighting connections. The MXHD14LIDKIT wiring is designed to connect directly to Memphis Audio HD PRO sound systems including the MXAHDPRO4 and MXAHDPRO2 (both sold separately).
Notes:
- Installation of the MXHD14LIDKIT will require cutting and drilling into your hard-shell saddle bags.
- The included pre-configured wiring is designed to connect directly to a Memphis Audio MXAHDPRO4 or MXAHDPRO2 Harley-Davidson audio system. If interfacing the bag lid speaker kit with another type of audio system, the speaker and RGB wiring will need to be spliced in.

- Compatibility Notes:
- The Memphis Audio Saddlebag Lid Kit is designed for installation on ABS plastic lids and is not compatible with fiberglass bag lids.
- The Saddlebag Lid Kit is not compatible with Harley-Davidson Power Lock Touring Luggage.
Weatherproof: The MXHD14LIDKIT carries an IPX6 waterproof rating when fully assembled and sealed.
6x9" Speakers: The included Memphis Audio 6x9" speakers feature a polypropylene woofer cone with a rubber surround and an all-weather ASA plastic frame for UV protection. These 2-way speakers feature dual tweeters mounted in a bridge design, providing clear loud sound for both driver and passenger.
RGB LED Backlighting: The MXHD14LIDKIT 6x9" speakers feature a semi-translucent cone with RGB LED backlighting that can light up the speaker cone various colors. 4-pin RGB cabling is included for connecting and controlling the LED backlighting from your Memphis Audio MXAHDPRO4 or MXAHDPRO2 audio system. If not interfacing a Memphis Audio HD PRO system, an RGB LED hardwire harness is included that lets you connect directly to a switched 12V source for a single static LED color. For multi-color use, an RGB LED controller will be required and is sold separately.
