Overview: The Memphis Audio Power Reference PRX500.4V2 is a compact and powerful 4-channel amplifier. This Class D amp features a compact anodized brushed aluminum chassis with all of the connections on one side for a clean installation. Each Power Reference series amplifier includes a Certificate of Performance with a total RMS power measurement.

Output Power: The PRX500.4V2 can provide the following output power:

• 75 watts RMS x 4 at 4-ohms
• 125 watts RMS x 4 at 2-ohms
• 250 watts RMS x 2 at 4-ohms (bridged)

High-Level/Low-Level Inputs: The Memphis Audio PRX500.4V2 4-channel amplifier features two pair of RCA inputs that can accept signal levels ranging from 200mV up to 6V. Two sets of RCA-to-speaker wire adapers are included for running speaker-level input signals. A pair of RCA Outputs lets you jumper the input signal out to an additional amplifiers.

Accent Lighting: The mono amplifier features an acrylic top panel with an LED-backlit MEMPHIS logo that glows blue. Additional undermount LEDs provides blue accent lighting around the amplifier.

Protection Circuitry: The amplifier features built-in circuitry to protect the amplifier against short circuit, overheating, and over/under battery voltage. The amp LEDs will glow red when the amplifier shuts down due to any of the above causes.

Controls: The amplifier features a removeable acrylic top plate where the Gain, Filters, and Bass Boost controls are located. The top panel can be removed using the included 2mm Allen key. Input Level, 2/4 Channel, and Remote adjustments are located on the Input side-panel. The top panel includes duplicate controls for Channels 1/2 and 3/4:

• Gain: rotary control; sets the input sensitivity for that pair of channels; labeled Min to Max
• Crossover Switch: channel pairs 1/2 and 3/4 can have their crossover selected to High-Pass, Full, or Low-Pass
• Low-Pass Crossover: rotary control; range 50-250 Hz;18 dB/octave slope
• High-Pass Crossover: rotary control; range 50-250 Hz; 12 dB/octave slope
• Bass Boost: rotary control; provides up to +12dB of signal boost; centered at 45Hz
• Input Panel Controls:
  • Input Channels: 2-position switch determines the number of input channels used; options include 2CH and 4CH
  • Input Level: 2-position switch:
  • Lo: line-level source
  • Hi: speaker-level source
  • Auto Turn On: 3-position switch:
  • 12V: using a +12 volt remote turn-on wire
  • DC: DC Offset; speaker level input only
  • Audio: Audio Signal Sense; speaker level or line level input

Connections:

• Power/Ground/Turn-on: set-screw terminals; power and ground terminals accept bare wire up to 4-gauge (a 4-gauge amplifier wiring kit with an in-line 50-amp fuse on the power wire within 18" of the battery is recommended); REM set screw terminal accepts up to 12-gauge wire (an 18-gauge remote lead is sufficient)
• Signal Input: four RCA jacks; preamp or speaker level input; 200mV-6V
• Line Output: stereo RCA jacks for sending the audio signal to a second amplifier
• Speaker Outputs: four pairs of set screw terminals provide the Channel 1-4 speaker outputs; accepts up to 12-gauge wire; bridging terminals are indicated on the amplifier
