Overview: The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro is a high-powered action camera with a next-generation 1/1.3" image sensor that can record stunning 4K/120 fps video and 40 MP photos. It has a bright f/2.8 lens with a super-wide 155° field-of-view that can capture vast landscapes and cityscapes, or focus down to 13-3/4". Videos and photos are stored on the built-in 47 GB memory or an optional microSD card up to 1 TB. This Osmo Action 5 Pro Standard Combo includes a quick-release mounting adapter, a curved adhesive mounting base, and a protective frame for the camera. The camera has the following dimensions: Width 2.847", Height 1.824", Depth 1.316"; Weight 5.2 ounces.

Dual Touchscreens: The Osmo Action 5 Pro is equipped with dual OLED color touchscreens to allow you to operate and control the camera from either direction. The 2.5" rear touchscreen has a resolution of 400 x 712 pixels and 326 ppi, while the 1.46" front touchscreen has 342 x 342 pixel resolution and 331 ppi. Both touchscreens feature high brightness (800 cd/m² max typical, 1000 cd/m² max peak) making them easily viewable in bright sunlight. When the camera is powered on, both screens display the live view, shooting mode, battery level, and microSD card information. You can also display the live view on your connected smart device using the DJI Mimo app.

Waterproof: The Action 5 Pro can be used under water in depths up to over 65 feet (20 meters) without the need for additional accessories. The battery compartment and USB-C port have covers that prevent water from entering the camera. For more serious underwater photography, the optional Osmo Action 60m Waterproof Case (sold separately by DJI) is recommended. The case uses high-strength glass, and offers IP68 waterproof protection at depths of up to 196' (60 meters).

High Resolution Camera: The camera can record high resolution video and still photos with its ultra-wide angle lens. It has a built-in digial zoom up to 2x for photos and videos. It is equipped with an electronic shutter with speeds of 1/8000 to 30 seconds for photos and 1/8000 to its fps limit for video. The lens has an ISO sensitivity range of 100-25600 for photos and 100-51200 for videos.

Still Photo Recording: The Action 5 Pro can take still images in JPEG or RAW with resolution of up to 40 MP (7296 x 5472 pixels). You can set a delay of 0.5, 1, 2, 3, 5, or 10 seconds. Photos can be taken one at a time or in bursts of up to 30 images in 3 seconds.

Video Recording: The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro action camera is capable of recording ultra-high definition video up to 4K/120 fps in MP4 (HEVC) format. You can choose from the following resolutions:

Slow Motion: In Slow Motion, the camera records video with a high frame-rate and slows the footage down to 4x or 8x the normal speed during playback, letting you catch details in fast-action shots. Audio is not recorded in Slow Motion mode. Slow Motion options include:

• 4K: 4x (120 fps)
• 2.7K: 4x (120 fps)
• 1080p: 8x (240 fps), 4x (120 fps)

Hyperlapse/Timelapse: Hyperlapse Mode lets you record smooth timelapse videos while the camera is in motion. You can shoot at 4K, 2.7K, or 1080p at 25/30 fps at intervals of x2, x5, x10, x15, x30, and Auto. Timelapse Mode lets you record videos when the camera is mounted and still. Videos can be recorded at 4K, 2.7K, or 1080p at 25/30 fps at intervals of 0.5 seconds to 60 minutes for durations of 5 minutes to 5 hours (plus infinity).

Pre-Recording: The camera can be set to pre-record footage and save it once the Record button is pressed. This allows you to capture spontaneous events when you're not sure when they will occur. You can set the duration of the pre-record footage prior to pressing the record button, choosing from 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 seconds.

Stabilization: The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro features intelligent EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) with the following options:

• RockSteady 3.0: RockSteady 3.0 helps eliminate camera shake in all directions, providing a stable and immersive first-person perspective.
• RockSteady 3.0+: Compared to RockSteady, the edges of the images will be slightly reduced to obtain stronger stabilization.
• HorizonSteady: HorizonSteady corrects camera shake for any horizontal rotation (360°) and locks on the leveled horizon in every frame, regardless of how the camera is mounted or worn.
• HorizonBalancing: HorizonBalancing reduces the shaking of images within ±45°.

Audio Recording: The camera has two built-in microphones on the front and one on the bottom that lets you record stereo audio with your video. You can enable Wind Noise Reduction to provide clear audio in windy or fast action scenes. Audio is recorded in 16-bit/48kHz AAC format. The camera supports connecting up to two optional DJI wireless microphones via Bluetooth.

Voice Control and Voice Prompts: The Action 5 Pro's control menu lets you enable Voice Control, which allows you to use voice commands for basic functions. Voice commands include Start Recording, Stop Recording, Take Photo, and Shut Down. Voice Prompts can help you check the current shooting mode when the camera is mounted on a helmet or other hard-to-see locations. When Voice Prompts are enabled, the camera will broadcast the shooting mode when changing modes by pressing the Quick Switch button.

Wireless Connections: The camera can be connected wirelessly via both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. It is compatible with Wi-Fi 6.0 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. You can also connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth BLE 5.1.

Webcam: The DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro, when connected to a computer via USB, can be used as a webcam, providing a more dynamic communication experience. The front-facing screen and included adjustable mount let you quickly and easily set the camera up for webcam use.

DJI Mimo App: The DJI Mimo app (iOS 14.0+, Android 8.0+) is a comprehensive app that offers intuitive, powerful editing tools to enhance your photos and videos through your compatible smartphone. Your compatible Apple iPhone or Android smartphone will need to be connected to the Osmo Action 5 Pro via a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. The app lets you view live video during recording. You can capture, edit, and share your videos with others. The app also offers multiple filters, music templates, and watermark stickers to add to your videos and photos.

Battery: The Osmo Action 5 Pro camera is powered by the included Osmo Action Extreme Battery Plus (3.87V, 1950mAh, 7.5Wh). This rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery charges in the camera when it is connected via USB to a USB-C charger that supports Power Delivery or PPS (Programmable Power Supply). The status LEDs blink green while charging and turn off when the battery is fully charged (no charging time given). A fully charged battery provides up to 240 minutes of operating time. Even in low temperatures (-4°F), you can get up to 3.6 hours of recording time. A 15-minute Quick Charge will give you approximately 2 hours of recording.

Transferring Files: You can easily transfer your photos and videos from the camera to your smartphone or computer. Using the DJI Mimo app, you can wirelessly transfer your files to your smartphone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at up to 80 MB per second. You can also connect the camera to your computer via USB to download the files. With Wi-Fi 6.0 and USB 3.0, you can rapidly transfer your memories in minutes.
