Overview: The DJI Mic Mini is a tiny, ultra-lightweight wireless microphone system that produces high-quality audio for your recordings. The receiver can pair with two transmitters simultaneously. The kit includes one transmitter and one receiver, plus a charging dock, mobile phone adapter, two windscreens, and USB and audio cables. Additional mic/transmitters and an optional charging case are sold separately.

Microphone/Transmitter: The Mic Mini transmitter (DMMT01) includes a microphone with an omnidirectional pickup pattern. Its small form factor and ultra-light design makes it comfortable to wear. The wireless microphone transmits its signal to the receiver via Bluetooth 5.3 at a distance of up to 437 yards (400 meters). When using the microphone in windy conditions, you can attach the included windscreen to reduce wind noise or other types of noise. It has an integrated clothing clip that lets you attach the microphone to a pocket or collar, or attach to a lanyard (not provided). The included magnetic mount lets you attach the mic to a metal surface or wear it on your clothing by sandwiching it between the magnet and clip. The transmitter can be used with the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 or Osmo Action 5 Pro action cameras by linking the transmitter to the camera in the menu.

Receiver: The Mic Mini receiver (DMMR01) takes the audio from one or two microphones and outputs it to your chosen device, whether its a computer, camera, camcorder, smartphone, or tablet. It is also compatible with the DJI Neo drone. The receiver features a USB-C output and a 3.5mm analog audio out, with included USB and audio cables, for connecting to the recording device. An expansion port is provided for connecting the included phone adapter. The receiver has a clip for attaching it to your clothing. The clip is also the correct width for mounting it to a standard cold shoe on a camera. During recording, automatic limiting prevents audio clipping to ensure the best quality audio. You can also adjust the gain of the receiver manually using the gain setting dial. You can choose a gain setting of -12dB, -6dB, 0dB, +6dB, and +12dB. The Mic Mini supports both Mono and Stereo (dual-channel) recording. Audio captured by two transmitters can be output separately or combined into a single track.

Phone Adapters: The DJI Mic Mini receiver can be connected to a smartphone or tablet for recording audio. The included phone adapter attaches to the receiver's expansion port at a right angle, allowing you to attach the receiver to your USB-C equipped smartphone or tablet. For Lightning connector-equipped Apple iPhones and iPads, an optional Mobile Phone Adapter with a Lightning connector can be purchased separately.

Safety Track: The Mic Mini can record in dual tracks, a main track and a safety track. The main track records at normal volume, while the second track records at 6dB lower. The safety track helps to protect the audio from issues, such as clipping and distortion. Recording a safety track is helpful for recording live performances that may have fluctuating volumes. Recording in Dual Tracks can be set up in the DJI Mimo app (iOS 14.0+, Android 8.0+).

Rechargeable Batteries: The Mic Mini transmitter and receiver are powered by Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries. The transmitter battery charges in approximately 1 hour 30 minutes using the provided charging dock. The receiver battery charges in approximately 1 hour 40 minutes via USB-C. A special charging cable is included, with USB-A on one end and dual USB-C on the other end for simultaneously charging the receiver and transmitter. The optional DJI Mic Mini Charging Case, sold separately, can charge two transmitters and one receiver simultaneously.
