DJI OM 6: Equipped with 3-axis stabilization, the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 (OM 6) turns your compatible Apple iPhone or Android smartphone device into a camera that can deliver a stabilized and super-smooth image. The OM 6 features a lightweight, ergonomic, and magnetic design that puts seamlessly smooth video creation at your fingertips. The DJI OM 6 offers manual control from its hand-grip and intelligent modes via the DJI Mimo app (available for Apple iOS and Android). It also features a fold-able design making it easy to transport and store.

3-Axis Gimbal: With a 3-axis gimbal that effectively reduces shaky footage, the DJI OM 6 delivers a super-smooth, stabilized image. A lightweight, ultra-responsive design reacts to your movements in real time, letting you focus more on the moment at hand. The gimbal converts the OM 6's joystick movements into smooth pan and tilt transitions, while reducing the impact of natural vibrations. Even with an external lens added, DJI OM 6's powerful motor keeps your smartphone steady and your video smooth. A double-press of the Switch button lets you quickly switch between portrait and landscape mode.

Magnetic Phone Clamp: The OM 6 includes an adjustable magnetic phone clamp that's designed to fasten around your compatible smartphone. It then magnetically attaches and detaches to the OM 6. The magnetic phone clamp is incredibly thin and ultralight, keeping your smartphone secure while in use. Anti-slip pads are also included that can provide a tighter fit for your smartphone if needed.

Smartphone Compatibility: The DJI OM 6 supports smartphones that are 2.63" to 3.30" wide, 0.27" to 0.39" thick, and weigh up to 10.2 oz. This range covers most Apple iPhone and Android smartphone devices currently available. Please note that actual compatibility might be affected by accessories (such as a case) attached to your phone. Certain form factors, including buttons on the side, should also be considered. Your compatible smartphone can be positioned vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape) when magnetically attached to the gimbal.

Bluetooth 5.1: The OM 6 utilizes Bluetooth 5.1 to communicate with your smartphone and can be wirelessly connected with a few easy taps in the DJI Mimo app. Once your smartphone is connected to the OM 6, it will automatically connect again the next time you use the same phone.

DJI Mimo App: DJI Mimo app (for Apple iOS 12.0+ and Android OS 8.0+) offers intuitive recording and editing tools to enhance the photos and videos from your compatible Apple iPhone and Android smartphone device. The DJI Mimo app unlocks the full potential of the OM 6 by granting you total control of gimbal movements and camera parameters while enjoying an HD live view of the camera. The app also includes overexposure alerts and histograms, helping you ensure picture quality while making incredible moments. With tools like HD live view during recording and intelligent recording/editing modes, the DJI Mimo app is an all-in-one solution that lets you capture, edit, and share the best of your moments right from your compatible mobile device. Advanced functions of the DJI Mimo app include ActiveTrack 6.0, ShotGuides, StoryMode, Hyperlapse, Timelapse, Panoramas, Dynamic Zoom and more. When recording, video resolution is set at 720p in the DJI Mimo by default. You can change the video resolution in the app. However, the maximum video resolution depends on your smartphone's camera.

Single-Handed Ergonomic Control: Convenient buttons and intuitive functions make the DJI OM 6 easy to use with just one hand, providing more versatility and freedom of movement. You can enable most operations with a single hand thanks to the joystick, intuitive button combinations, and access to the Quick Settings. Thanks to its intelligent design, the OM 6 can be held for long periods of time. A comfortable 15-degree angled grip fits perfectly in your palm, enabling you to create without limitations. A built-in telescoping extension rod in the gimbal can provide up to 8" of additional extension. Gimbal grip controls include:

• M-Button: The multi-function button is used to power on and off the OM 6, as well as switch between Gimbal Modes, including:
  • Follow: Pan and Tilt axes follow the movement of the gimbal grip. Ideal when shooting moving up and down or on a slant.
  • Tilt Locked: Only the Pan axes follows the movement of the grip. Ideal for shooting arc shots from left to right.
  • FPV: Pan, Tilt, and Roll axes follow the movement of the grip. Ideal for shooting in first-person view.
  • SpinShot: Lets you shoot footage while rotating the camera 360°. Pan, Tilt, an Roll axes follow the grip while the Joystick can be used to control the Roll axis. Ideal for capturing push, pull, and down shots.
• Joystick: Vertical movement of the joystick tilts the camera, while horizontal movement of the joystick pans the camera. Also, lets you navigate through settings on the Quick Settings page.
• Shutter/Record Button: Press the Shutter/Record button once to take a photo or start or stop video recording. Press and hold the Shutter/Record button to enable burst shooting in photo mode.
• Trigger: This multi-function button can be used to start and stop ActiveTrack 5.0 (requires use with Mimo app); recenter the gimbal; and lock/unlock the gimbal.
• Slide Wheel: Pressing the Slide Wheel will switch between Focus and Zoom modes; rotating the wheel will control the zoom and focus amounts.
• Switch Button: One press switches between front and rear cameras; two presses switches between Landscape and Portrait modes; three presses will switch between photo and record mode.

Operation Modes: The DJI OM 6 can be configured for a variety of operating modes to suit your shooting application.

• Upright: The OM 6 is positioned vertically (portrait) or horizontally (landscape). In this mode, quickly press the M-button twice to center your smartphone device.
• Underslung: Holding the OM 6 upside down will cause it to enter Underslung mode, in which your smartphone can easily capture images from a lower position.
• Side Grip: Rotate the OM 6 to the right or left by 90° to go from Upright mode to Side Grip mode.
• Low Position: The tilt angle is enlarged, making it more suitable to shoot from a low position.

ActiveTrack 6.0: ActiveTrack 6.0 incorporates deep learning and computer vision algorithms, resulting in smooth and reliable tracking technology. ActiveTrack 6.0 recognizes adults, children, and pets with higher accuracy, even when the subject is obstructed in multi-person scenes or performing fast or dramatic movements like in sports. It even allows your front-facing camera to track subjects that turn to the side or spin.

Intelligent Shooting Modes: The DJI Mimo app uses intelligent modes and new algorithms to capture a scene. Multiple panorama modes let you capture breathtaking landscapes, while Timelapse and Motionlapse expand your creative options to make an unforgettable travel video, plus modes for auto zooming, cinematic filters, and gesture controls.

• Video: Lets you shoot standard video.
• Photos: Lets you shoot single photos. Pressing and holding the Record/Shutter button will activate Burst Shooting mode.
• DynamicZoom: Choose between DynamicZoom Move Out or Move In mode for the DJI OM 6 and your smartphone's camera to automatically zoom in or out on a subject during recording.
• StoryMode: StoryMode is a new video recording method that lets you make a cinematic short film with a single tap. Through a combination of preset shooting patterns and camera motions, StoryMode helps you create professional-quality video whenever you want. Exclusively designed filters and soundtracks give a unique finish to your footage. With a final runtime below one minute, StoryMode videos are perfect for social media.
• Lapse Modes: The powerful combination of electronic image stabilization (EIS) and gimbal stabilization is perfect for shooting Hyperlapse videos. Hyperlapse allows your to record everything passing by as you hold the gimbal and move. The Timelapse shooting mode condenses time and movement. Timelapse is suitable for recording the passing of time at a fixed location by mounting the DJI OM 6 on the included tripod or 3rd party tripod. Motionlapse allows your to record a moving timelapse video by setting camera points; you can set up to four camera points for Motionlapse.
• Pano: The CloneMe feature creates one epic panorama from several photos, pausing so you can get to the next frame and strike a pose. The 240° Pano uses gestures or a countdown to capture a panorama image. The 3x3 Pano mode automatically combines 3, 7, or 9 separate photos into a super wide-angle shot.
• Parents & Kids Mode: When shooting with the gimbal grip placed on a flat surface and a parent and child are in the same frame, the gimbal will automatically keep the child in the frame. When finished, the video can be automatically edited and generated.
• Slow Motion: Lets you shoot in 4x or 8x slow motion (must be a compatible smartphone; please see compatibility list).
• Gesture Control: Lets you use select hand movements to take a selfie or group photo.

Intuitive Editor: The DJI Mimo app's editing suite is designed for beginner and experienced users to enhance their content with a professional touch. Set the tone of your video with templates, filters, music, and watermark stickers. For finer details, you can also adjust playback speed and direction, brightness, saturation, contrast, and sharpness to make your finished work truly unique. Alternatively, you can use the My Story video templates designed by professional editors to make your footage cinematic.

Media Management: The DJI Mimo app gives you two options to access your recorded media. You can remove the microSD card from your Android smartphone and transfer the files to your computer, as well as import images all through the app on your iPhone or Android smartphone device. You can also download photos and videos from a computer to your compatible mobile device, then edit and manage them all in DJI Mimo app.

DJI Academy: For immersive and active learning, the DJI Mimo app includes DJI Academy, a resource of easy-to-follow tutorial videos and answers to frequently asked questions so that you can become an experienced photographer.

Rechargeable Battery: The DJI OM 6 is equipped with a built-in rechargeable Lithium-ion Polymer battery (1000mAh/7.74V) that lasts up to 6 hours/24 minutes (under ideal conditions with the gimbal fully balanced). The OM 6 will automatically power off if there is no operation for approximately 10 minutes. You can charge the OM 6 via its USB-C charging port and a 5V/2A (10W) USB power source (sold separately - see Accessories Tab). The recommended charging current is 2A. It takes approximately 1 hour/24 minutes to fully charge the battery at 5V/2A, using a 10W charger.

Standby Modes: If you need to take a call midway through filming; you can simply remove your compatible smartphone from the the OM 6, and the stabilizer gimbal will enter Standby mode automatically. Standby mode even allows you to use your smartphone when the gimbal is folded, enabling you to start shooting again quickly.

Portable & Foldable: A sleek, foldable design allows the DJI OM 6 to be taken almost anywhere. Weighing just 11.64 oz. (gimbal and phone clamp) it is portable, light, and incredibly convenient to toss in a backpack for your next adventure.

Grip Tripod: The DJI OM 6 comes with a tripod attachment that allows your position the stabilizer gimbal and your smartphone device on a tabletop for group photos and videos that require greater stability.

1/4"-20 Mounting Thread: The mounting hole on the bottom of the DJI OM 6 is a standard 1/4"-20 UNC thread. It can be used with the included hand grip/tripod as well as many other full-size tripods and third-party accessories (all sold separately).

Optional Wireless Microphone: The OM 6 can be used with one of DJI's Mic 2 wireless microphone kits, found here. The DJI Mic 2 is a dual-channel wireless microphone system that lets you capture crystal clear audio along with your Mobile 6 footage, making it ideal for interviews and vlogging.

Firmware Updates: Firmware updates are done via Bluetooth 5.1 through the DJI Mimo app (for Apple iOS and Android). When the firmware is updating, the status indicator will flash red and green, turning solid green when the firmware update has finished.
