Elac Debut 3 DF63
Greg from Billings, MT on 4/4/2025
The speaker's ability to produce a wide soundstage is particularly noteworthy, creating an immersive audio experience playing vinyl that makes you feel as if you're in the middle of a live performance. They sound great, capturing the warmth and depth that vinyl is known for, while also highlighting the subtle nuances and details in the music ELAC Debut 3.0 DF63 is a great start into high fidelity at a reasonable price making it a standout choice in the world of floor-standing speakers. Highly recommended!
Pros: Sound great, capturing the warmth and depth that vinyl is known
Cons: Actually took awhile for the speakers to really open up with the highs and even the lower bass sounds.

Great Speakers I
Constance K from Biglerville, PA on 2/24/2025
Really enjoyed the entire purchasing experience, from chatting with Lori , ordering the Debut 3.0 DF63 speakers with Finn and the ultimate delivery and setup. I'm far from being an audiophile but these speakers are exactly what we needed. Our listening experience is primarily focused on playing our collection of lp's from the 60's and 70's and occasionly streaming internet radio. Thus far the sound has been amazing. When in need in the future Crutchfield will be our first stop for audio.

Great upgrade Debut 3.0 DF63
Tony from Guam on 12/20/2024
I purchased these to get a slight upgrade from my Wharfedale 12.3 Diamond towers(5.25 driver). I wanted a 6.o driver that was less expensive, and had a smaller footprint. My ultimate purpose was space saving and no subwoofer. The specs show the Debut DF63 going down to 30Hz while the diamonds only go to 45hz. The Wharfedale 12.3 Diamond are 5lbs heavier, have more bass extension, and are bigger speakers. Whereas the Debut DF63 are thinner, lighter and taller. That is everything I needed and also the bonus is the Debut 63 have deeper bass (with less extension) Sonically the Debut DF63 sound smooth, and pleasing like my Diamond 12.3, especially the high freqs. These speakers are perfectly suited to what I was looking for. It has been 5 years since I got a pair of Elac speakers they did not disappoint. Highly recommended!
Pros: Lighter footprint than my 5.25 tower speakers. Lower bass response, aesthetically good to look at. Can run without a subwoofer in smaller rooms.
Cons: Less bass extension than my 5.25 towers. Rigger feet are plastic(saves weight-but you can crack-em by accident-be careful) Might need the next size up for bigger rooms.

Neutral and warm, does everything well
Brady from Sheridan, AR on 11/27/2024
I was looking to upgrade the front speakers in my home theater from in-walls to towers and gave these a try. They did not disappoint! They are neutral and have a nice warm signature I could listen to all day. I was a little concerned about brightness from the aluminum dome tweeter, but you could've told me it was a soft dome and I would've believed it. I was especially impressed with the natural tone of the lows. I could imagine there was stand up bass in the room. Bass isn't the punchiest, but the bass it provides is well controlled and accurate. Mids and highs are smooth and clear, and they produce an excellent soundstage. Cymbals and bells aren't right out in front of you, but they aren't fatiguing. It's an excellent speaker all around! I also tried the Polk ES60 and R600 alongside the ELACs, so I can provide a brief comparison here. Both Polks have slightly more bass and are more sensitive. The ES60's bass was muddy by comparison. The R600's bass is excellent but sounds more "artificial" than the ELAC by comparison. Mids are where the ES60 falls the most compared to the other two. Response sounded more U-shaped. Highs are good in all 3 speakers. I wouldn't call any of them bright, but between the 3, highs are the most forward with the R600 which helps give that speaker more depth to the soundstage.
Pros: Excellent sound quality for the money 3-way design Frequency response Natural, warm timbre Non-fatiguing tweeters
Cons: Not the most stable on a hard floor with the included spikes and pucks. Does not replace the need for a sub.

True full range speaker with great styling
Keegan from Lynnwood, WA on 10/19/2024
Build quality is top notch, the included floor spikes and cushions is a well received nice touch for anyone with hardwood floors. When you give them some power their soundstage opens up considerably and I find myself not needing to use a separate subwoofer for most listening experiences. Truly a full range speaker with clear highs, nice mid range and low end thump that makes you think twice. The styling is also top notch. My favorite part being the tweeter wave guides that make them stand out from the rest
