About the Marshall Acton III

James Ralston

A compact-but-mighty Marshall

The Acton III is the smallest "home" (non-battery-powered) speaker in Marshall's lineup, but it still packs considerable punch — great for injecting bold, musical sound into tight spaces. This speaker's elegant design pays homage to the company's iconic guitar amplifiers, right down to the brass knobs and power switch on the top panel. We heard great things from our customers about earlier generations of this speaker, but this latest version has been completely redesigned for a wider soundstage with even better clarity and tighter bass.

Two angled 0.75" tweeters with integrated waveguides receive 15 watts of power each and deliver a broad high frequency soundstage. A 4" cone woofer is housed in a bass reflex cabinet with a rear-firing port and receives 30 watts of power for smooth, deep bass response.

The speaker system will go into Standby mode when there is no audio signal or no operation for approximately 10 minutes. Greetings Ed. Thank you for your question. The Marshall Action III is not a stackable Marshall Bluetooth speaker. According to Marshall, you would need to stack with other Emberton 2 speakers.
