Water & Dust Proof (IP67): The Marshall Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker features a rugged rubberized housing and a durable metal material grille which will hold up indoors and outdoors. The Marshall Emberton III is water & dust proof with an IP67-rating; meaning no more worrying about rain, spills, or dust. you can even submerge the Emberton III in water up to 1 meter (3') for up to 30 minutes. Its compact design fits easily into a backpack, so you can take it anywhere with you.

• The Emberton III can only be submerged in water for a short period of time. If the speaker is playing and then submerged in water, it will sound muffled, as anything submerged in water would sound like. Submerging the speaker more than 1 meter and for more than 30 minutes will damage the speaker as the water will penetrate through the waterproof barriers due to pressure.
• To ensure the Marshall Emberton III is waterproof, please remove the USB-C cable and do not charge the speaker's battery while it is being exposed to water or other liquids. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in permanent damage to the speaker and power source.

Stereo Sound: The Marshall Emberton III delivers dynamic sound with a frequency response of 65-20,000Hz thanks to two 2" full-range cone drivers powered by a 20-watt Class D amplifier, plus two 2" passive radiators. It incorporates 360-Degree True Stereophonic technology for omni-directional sound and Dynamic Loudness for increased bass response.

• 360-Degree True Stereophonic: Experience 360-degree True Stereophonic sound, a unique form of multi-directional sound from Marshall, where practically every position in the room is a "sweet-spot". By separating out the spatial content of stereo recordings, the Emberton III produces a sound much larger than its size, outperforming many speakers in its class.
• Dynamic Loudness: The Emberton III offers more bass than its predecessor thanks to its Dynamic Loudness feature that adjusts the tonal balance as you change the volume, so you get rich, full sound at any volume level.
• Auracast: With Auracast, you can wirelessly connect multiple Marshall Emberton III speakers and other compatible Auracast speakers together via Bluetooth LE for even bigger sound. You can adjust the volume on any individual speaker for the perfect sound balance.

Built-In Bluetooth 5.3 LE: The Marshall Emberton III portable speaker features built-in Bluetooth 5.3 LE with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP) and control (AVRCP), as well as hands-free communication (HFP). Your Bluetooth source device can be easily paired and quickly connected to the Emberton III speaker using SSP (Secure Simple Pairing). You can pair up to 8 Bluetooth devices with the speaker and keep two devices connected at the same time, so you can easily switch back and forth between devices. The Marshall Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker has an extended wireless range of approximately 328' (100 meters).

• Wireless Audio Streaming: You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer to the Emberton III portable speaker. You'll also be able to operate basic playback controls from the speaker including Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Volume Up/Down. Advanced music navigation and song/artist/album information will still be handled by your Bluetooth-enabled source device.
• Hands-Free Communication: A built-in microphone allows you to use the Marshall Emberton III as a speakerphone. You can simply answer and end a phone call by pressing the speaker's multi-function button. You'll talk into the Emberton III's built-in microphone and the other party will be heard through the speaker. You'll still need to use your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone device to make phone calls. Once you make a call from your phone, it will automatically transfer to the Emberton III speaker when the two are paired via Bluetooth. *Voice dialing is not supported by the speaker's microphone.

Multi-Function Dial: A top-panel 3-way dial on the Marshall Emberton III provides a variety of functions including Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, and Fast Forward/Rewind.

Marshall Bluetooth App: The Marshall Bluetooth app (for Apple iOS and Android OS) allows control of the Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker from your compatible smartphone or tablet via a wireless Bluetooth connection. You can control basic playback functions such as Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Volume Up/Down. You also get access to 3 EQ Presets to customize your music listening experience.

Rechargeable Battery: The Marshall Emberton III portable Bluetooth speaker has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 32 hours of playback time (varies by volume level and audio content). The Emberton III speaker includes a USB-C port (5V/3A) and a 31" USB-C cable to aid in charging the built-in battery through a 3rd party USB/AC power adapter (sold separately). A full battery charge takes approximately 2 hours. You can also quick charge the battery for 20 minutes to give you up to 6 hours of playback time. A 10-segment battery indicator on top of the speaker shows the battery charge with a steady light and a rising animation indicates charging.
