Classic Marshall Design: The Middleton features Marshall's classic design with a gold-colored multi-function dial and the iconic script "Marshall" logo. The Marshall Middleton is available in a black or cream finish.

Water & Dust Proof (IP67): The Marshall Middleton portable Bluetooth speaker features a rugged rubberized housing and a durable metal material grille which will hold up indoors and outdoors. The Marshall Middleton is water & dust proof with an IP67-rating; meaning no more worrying about rain, spills, or dust. you can even submerge the Middleton in water up to 1 meter (3') for up to 30 minutes. Its compact design fits easily into a backpack and also comes with a carry strap, so you can take it anywhere with you.

• The Middleton can only be submerged in water for a short period of time. If the speaker is playing and then submerged in water, it will sound muffled, as anything submerged in water would sound like. Submerging the speaker more than 1 meter and for more than 30 minutes will damage the speaker as the water will penetrate through the waterproof barriers due to pressure.
• To ensure the Marshall Middleton is waterproof, please remove the USB charging cable Aux input cable. Do not charge the speaker's battery or connect a wired auxiliary device while the speaker is being exposed to water or other liquids. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in permanent damage to the speaker and power source.

Dynamic Stereo Sound: The Marshall Middleton employs a 2-way driver design with 60 watts of Class D amplification for dynamic, room-filling sound. There are two 0.625" dome tweeters powered by two 10W Class D amplifiers and two 3" cone woofers powered by two 20W Class D amplifiers for powerful stereo sound. Two passive radiators help the compact speaker deliver a smoother, deeper bass response.

• Tone Control w/ Dynamic Loudness: Bass & Treble controls are found on the top-panel, allowing you to fine tune high and low frequency sounds. A Dynamic Loudness feature automatically adjusts the tonal balance of the sound to ensure your music sounds brilliant at every volume level.
• True Stereophonic: Experience True Stereophonic sound, a unique form of multi-directional sound from Marshall, where practically every position in the room is a "sweet-spot". By separating out the spatial content of stereo recordings, the Middleton produces a sound much larger than its size, outperforming many speakers in its class.
• Stack Mode: You can enable Stack Mode which allows you to wirelessly connect multiple Marshall Middleton speakers together via Bluetooth for even bigger sound. You can adjust the volume on any individual speaker for the perfect sound balance.

Built-In Bluetooth 5.1: The Marshall Middleton portable speaker features built-in Bluetooth 5.1 with support for wireless audio streaming (A2DP) and control (AVRCP), as well as Secure Simple Pairing (SSP). The Marshall Middleton portable Bluetooth speaker has a wireless range of approximately 30'.

• Wireless Audio Streaming (A2DP/AVRCP): You'll be able to wirelessly stream stored music, music apps, and other audio content from your Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer to the Middleton portable speaker. You'll also be able to operate basic playback controls from the speaker including Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Volume Up/Down. Advanced music navigation and song/artist/album information will still be handled by your Bluetooth-enabled source device.
• Secure Simple Pairing (SSP): Thanks to support for Secure Simple Pairing (SSP), you can pair multiple Bluetooth devices with the Marshall Middleton speaker and two devices can remain connected at the same time. With two source devices connected and one device is playing, the second connected device cannot start playing until the first device is paused.

Aux Input: In addition to Bluetooth wireless connectivity, the Marshall Middleton is equipped with a top-panel stereo minijack (3.5mm) Aux input for a wired connection of an external audio source with an analog output or headphone jack.

Top-Panel Controls: Top-panel controls consist push-buttons and a multi-function dial. The multi-function dial operates Power On/Off, Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Volume Up/Down. Four push-buttons control Bass, Treble, Bluetooth Pairing, and Battery Status.

Marshall Bluetooth App: The Marshall Bluetooth app (for Apple iOS 14.0+ and Android OS 7.0+) allows control of the Middleton portable Bluetooth speaker from your compatible smartphone or tablet via a wireless Bluetooth connection. You can control basic playback functions such as Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track, Fast Forward/Rewind, and Volume Up/Down. You also get access to 3 EQ Presets to customize your music listening experience.

Rechargeable Battery: The Marshall Middleton portable Bluetooth speaker has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery that provides up to 20 hours of playback time (varies by volume level and audio content). The Middleton speaker includes a USB-C port and a 39" USB-C to USB-A cable to aid in charging the built-in battery. The battery can be recharged from a 3rd party USB/AC power adapter (sold separately) or a free USB port on your computer. A full battery charge takes approximately 4.5 hours. You can also quick charge the battery for 20 minutes to give you up to 2 hours of playback time. A 10-segment battery indicator on top of the speaker shows the battery charge with a steady light and a rising animation indicates charging.
