Features
Overview: The Atlas Sound Omni-Purpose Horn Loudspeakers are designed for high-intelligibility voice and signal transmission. The AP-15T weather-resistant horn speaker can be used for indoor and outdoor public address, intercom, security, and industrial signal systems. The speaker's highly-efficient compression drivers can project sound over long distances. The AP-15T speaker's trademarked squared-bell design features structural aluminum construction with a gray baked epoxy finish and matching ABS plastic. It comes with an integrated Omni-Purpose mounting bracket with vertical and horizontal adjustment for accurate positioning.
Wiring: The AP-15T horn speaker has a power rating of up to 15 watts. Two screw terminals are provided for connecting the speakers using bare wire or spade connectors. The terminals have a weather- and tamper-resistant cover.
Power Taps: This speaker is equipped with a versatile 3-way transformer that allows you to select 25V, 70.7V, or 100V operation. Atlas Sound's exclusive Vari-Tap Connect Center features a 7-position, watts/impedance selection switch. With a screwdriver, you can select taps of 0.48, 0.94, 1.8, 7.5, and 15 watts for 25V line; 1, 2, 3.8, 7.5 and 15 watts for 70.7V line; and 2, 4, 8, and 15 watts for 100V line. Impedance selections include 5000, 2500, 1300, 666, 333, 89, and 45 ohms.
Note: This speaker should only be connected to an amplifier designed for 25V, 70.7V, or 100V operation. The 8Ω version of this speaker is the AP-15.
