The AtlasIED AS8-T can blanket your commercial outdoor venue with rich musical content and clear (yet unobtrusive) voice communication. This speaker has clean lines that blend in to almost any decor, and the ability to resist almost anything the weather forecast can throw at it. A built-in transformer with 70/100V taps allows it to integrate with most commercial distributed audio systems, and an 8-ohm bypass switch lets it work seamlessly with more traditional home audio amplification.

Features

Overview: Atlas Sound AS-Series surface mount speakers are designed for commercial, professional, and residential applications. These weather-resistant, full-range speakers can be used indoors or outdoors, and feature a built-in 60 W transformer for 70 & 100 V applications. Each AS-series speaker includes an AtlasIED Yoke Mount wall bracket that allows for vertical or horizontal speaker positioning.

Construction: The AS-Series surface-mount loudspeakers feature weather-resistant construction for indoor or outdoor use year round. The high-impact ABS enclosure is durable and scuff-resistant, and is coated with a UV inhibitor to withstand fading and breakdown. The speakers are protected by a powder-coated aluminum grille, and carry an IP55 weatherproof rating.

Drivers: The Atlas Sound AS-8T is equipped with a 1" exit high-frequency compression driver, and a highly-efficient 8" weather-treated paper woofer with a Butyl rubber surround. The speaker provides a wide 100° (h) x 90° (v) of coverage area for evenly dispersed sound.

Connections: The AS-8T features a 4-pin Euroblock connector for making speaker wire attachments. Two pins provide the input connection while two additional pins can be used to jumper the input signal out to additional speakers.

70/100 V Taps: The AtlasIED AS-8T speakers feature a built-in 60-watt transformer for 70 or 100-volt systems, along with an 8-ohm bypass. Tap settings include:

70 V: 3.8 W, 7.5 W, 15 W, 30 W, 60 W
100 V: 7.5 W, 15 W, 30 W, 60 W
Bypass: 8-Ohms

Mounting: The AS-8T speakers include Slip-Free yoke mount brackets (U-brackets) that allow the speakers to be mounted vertically or horizontally with a wide range of aiming positions.
