This compact, half-rack-sized amplifier from AtlasIED offers robust power that's highly configurable, great for driving different speaker setups in multiple playback zones of a commercial audio system. You can think of the CLA202 essentially as having 100 watts x 2 channels, but its helpful power sharing feature lets you adjust the output of the channels in combinations like 150 watts + 50 watts or 175 watts + 25 watts for installs where your connected speakers have varying power requirements.

You can tailor each of the amp's two channels individually for different impedance loads. Choose 70V, 100V, or "Low-Z" 4-ohm or 8-ohm output for use with different kinds of speaker setups. The load configuration and power sharing distribution settings are easy to select via simple back-panel switching.

Mounting hardware is included for installing one or two AtlasIED CLA Series amps in a single 1U rack space.

Features

Overview: The AtlasIED CLA202 is a 2-channel, 200-watt multi-impedance amplifier that features AtlasIED's patent-pending Power Share technology, allowing different power levels to be applied to separate output channels. The CLA202 can be used in both 25-, 70-, and 100-volt distributed systems as well as 2-, 4-, and 8-ohm low-impedance applications. The amplifier's switch-mode power supply features an auto-sensing design that ensures stable output power even with fluctuating power conditions.

Inputs: Two balanced inputs (1&2) are provided on two 3-pin Euroblock (Phoenix) connectors, both accepting line-level signals. Each input includes a corresponding rotary Gain dial for adjusting the signal level.

Speaker Outputs: Two 2-pin Euroblock connectors (1&2) provide the 2 powered output channels, each accommodating speaker wire up to 14-gauge.

Power Sharing: The CLA202 features AtlasIED's amplifier power sharing technology that can divide the power in any proportion to each of the speaker output channels. The total power available for the two speaker outputs is 200-watts, which can be split between the two speaker channels. A rear-panel Power Share dial lets you quickly and easily set how the power will be divided between the A and B speaker outputs:

Hi-Z & Low-Z Operation: The AtlasIED CLA202's flexible configuration lets you assign the two speaker outputs as either a Low-Z 4- or 8-ohm, or as a Hi-Z 70V or 100V output via a rear-panel 4-pin DIP switch.

Fan Cooled: The CLA202 is a highly efficient Class-D amplifier that generates minimal heat and can be convection-cooled most of the time. When additional cooling is required, a variable-speed fan will automatically activate providing increased air flow through the amp chassis.

Front-Panel Indicators:

Power/Protect: A single LED will light Blue when the amp is powered on and operating nominally, and will change to Red if it detects a fault or problem.
Channel Status: Two LEDs provide the status of each channel:
- Green: Indicates a signal is present and the channel is operating nominally.
- Yellow: Output Limiter has been activated and/or the amp is starting getting too hot.
- Red: Over-current/fault has occurred and the amp is in Protect mode.

GPI (General Purpose Input): A 3-pin Euroblock connector contains the input and output connections for optional contact switches (sold separately). The GPI port can be configured for either of the following options:

Standby Mode: Puts the amp into Standby mode when activated.
Priority Mode: When activated, this will Mute all inputs.

Remote Level Control: A 4-pin Euroblock connector lets you connect an optional Remote Level Control for remotely adjusting the volume of each channel using a 10 kΩ variable potentiometer (sold separately) such as the AtlasIED WPD-VC10K wall-mount control. Each channel's signal level can be adjusted with individual level controls, or be configured with one level control affecting all channels simultaneously.

Mounting: The AtlasIED CLA202 is housed in a 1U (high), 1/2-rack (width) chassis that can be rack-mounted using the provided hardware. Rack-mount brackets are included for mounting either a single CLA202 or two CLA202s into a standard 1U 19" rack space.

Power: The CLA202 requires AC power for operation and includes a 6' AC power cord.
