Did a great job on cleaning the contacts. My stepped attenuator volume controls are now quiet. Would be nice if the spray tube actually fit into the nozzle, which it did not. A bit messy.

50 year old Sony stereo

The DeoxIT D5 contact cleaner spray worked perfect. The high frequency, and the mid on my JBL L 96 speakers was a little corroded, and this took care of the problem. It worked exactly like it was supposed to thanks, Crutchfield.

A clean sweep

Try this before you discard...

An old (50+) Lafayette Stereo Receiver brought back to life. Serious contact corrosion on switches and potentiometer dials causing no contact and/or static/scratchiness resolved. Now all I need are new speakers

We had watched a You Tube video on using compressed air canisters to clean 33 & 45 speed controls on a Technics turntable. No mention of the brand was mentioned and in looking for a product to clean the controls on our Technics SL 1400 I bought in 1977. I contacted Crutchfield and this product was recommended. I ordered it from Crutchfield, used it, and the turntable controls now work perfectly! We have purchased many products from Crutchfield over the years and have had very good service and information from them.

Vintage Electronics - Back to LIfe!

Amazing cure for a 34 year old Marshall Silver Jubilee amplifier with no output signal! Pulled out the chassis, cleaned all pots, jacks and circuit board. Rock'in again just like the '80's. Amazingly fast customer service and shipment all the way to the middle of the Pacific!!

Extremely pleased with how effectively DeoxIT Contact Cleaner worked. Sprayed it on the shaft of a dirty control knob and within a minute I could tell the difference in its operation. My old computer speakers are back good as ever.
