Hosa Headphone Adapter

I ordered two of these. One of them is defective. Here's why. In order to work properly the male end of the lighting cord is inserted into the female end of the headphone adapter. The defective headphone adapter unit will not completely accept the male connector. The male connector from the lightening wire goes inside but doesn't go in all the way. It just falls out. Please send me a replacement. If you want the defective unit back enclose or email me a return label. JV

Cheap in every sense of the word

initially a very snug insert but beyond that the inside is visually loose and as a result so is the connection. Drops one side and once you fix it its a don't look at it scenario. This is in contrast to a screw on type which is dead reliable. Day one and I'm thinking about getting another. Hard to believe the aggregate rating is 4 and a half stars. Not a great item. But when it works with my sbx creative the sound is alot better than onboard laptop sound. So its not all bad.

Intermittent connection

Connection to standard headphone cable is intermittent, requiring moving the cable to get it just right.

Hosa Headphone Adapter

I have an old amplifier with the larger headphone jack. Used the adapter so I can use current headphones. Plugged it into the amplifier. Plugged in the headphones. Easy. Done. Works as it should.

Not the treaded end I needed but am keeping it anyway. Looks to be good quality and will probably find another use for it
