Great Service

Although this adapter is a very small item it solved a huge, aggravating problem. It's for our digital piano for when we use headphones. We had purchased 2 different adapters that didn't fit right causing the sound to keep cutting out. The assistance provided by Crutchfield employees in guiding us to exactly what we needed was above and beyond.

Taiwan

I thought Hosa was a quality brand but it's very cheap, made in Taiwan. Cost me more in shipping. I guess I should have known from the price. Crutchfield needs to include where ALL items are made !

Straight in line adaptor 1/8" (3.5mm) to 1/4" (6.35mm). Works as expected and was exactly what I needed.

Very tight!

Very tight fit. But with force was able to make it work with my Sennheiser headphones without damage.

Just what I needed!

Just what I needed to connect my new headphones to my new tuner. Both were ordered from Crutchfield at the same time. I thought the adapter should have been included in first order but it wasn't. However when I called the company the sent me one for free. Can't beat that for customer service. Would definitely buy from them again.

Needs a Firmer Connection

I had misplaced the original adapter that came with my new Sennheiser HD598s headphones and this looked like what I needed. When it arrived I was impressed by the audiophile documentation, i.e. TRS for Female & TRS for Male. The first thing I noticed was it was not the screw or locking type adapter that I prefer but my mini plug connected with a nice solid clicking sound. I sat down in my lounger, connected to the receiver via the Grado 15' extension cable and auditioned my new adapter. It sounded very good and at first I was very pleased but when I got up out of my chair I started to lose the connection sporadically, i.e. the audio was cutting out. All HOSA needs is to provide a beefier "click" to ensure a locked down connection. I purchased a Sennheiser adapter and did an A/B comparison and both sounded equally good.
