About the Hosa SH-8X0-50

Buck Pomerantz

8-channel, 50-foot mic cord extension

Hosa's SH-8XO-50 Little Bro' Sub Snake takes the place of up to eight 50-foot microphone cables, easing the setup for miking multiple sound sources — like a drum kit or a small ensemble — while eliminating a lot of hazardous wire clutter on stage and in the studio. The compact, road-ready stage box features side-entry XLR jacks, for a lower-profile connection assembly that puts less strain on the cables and is also less apt to get kicked to pieces during an exciting performance.

Note: The SH-8XO-50 comes wired as eight XLR balanced input channels for a PA or recording interface, with no return channels for monitoring systems. You can create a return channel simply by using a male and female XLR "gender change" adapter on each end of a snake channel.
