KEF's S2 speaker stands are color-coordinated to match the company's passive LS50 Meta bookshelf speakers and LS50 Wireless II powered stereo speakers. They provide a stable foundation that helps deliver a stellar listening experience. Carpet spikes are included for additional stability on a rug or thick carpet, with protective discs for wood or linoleum floors. The stand's aluminum central post can be filled with shot or sand to increase stability and reduce resonance. Cable management channels are provided.

Features
S2 Floor Stand: The KEF S2 Floor Stand provides the perfect platform for your speakers to perform. The S2 Floor Stand is designed by KEF's UK engineering team to ensure your speakers sound their best, and deliver pristine, room-filling sound. They are the ideal height for driver positioning, and their steel plates and fillable aluminium tube structure provide the perfect platform.
Compatibility: The S2 Floor Stand is designed to partner with KEF's LS50 Meta LS50 Wireless II speakers, plus other KEF standmount speakers. The S2 Floor Stand can also be used with other bookshelf and standmount speakers of similar size and weight. Screws are included to secure your compatible KEF speakers to the top-plate of the S2 Floor Stand. Other compatible brands of speakers will simply rest on the top-plate of the stand. The top-plate measures 6.125" (w) x 7.5" (d).
Steel & Aluminum Contruction: The KEF S2 Floor Stand features steel & aluminum construction. The base and top-plate are made of heavy-duty steel, while the upright post is made of aluminum. The upright post is hollow allowing to fill it with sand for greater rigidity.
Cable Management: The KEF S2 Floor Stand's integrated cable management system allows your speaker wires to be hidden. The stand's base has an opening and the upright post has a concealed channel that lets your route your speaker wire from the amplifier to the speaker discretely.
Spike Feet w/ Protective Discs: The KEF S2 Floor Stand comes with spike feet and protective discs. The spike feet are ideal for carpeted flooring. The protective discs are used underneath the spike feet when placing the stand on hardwood, laminate, vinyl, or tile floors.

Note: The S2 Floor Stand should always be used with the spike feet (protective discs) installed for maximum stability and optimum isolation.
Foam Isolation Pads: The included self-adhesive foam isolation pads can be placed on the top-plate to prevent speaker resonance.
Multiple Color Options: The S2 Floor Stand's five colors perfectly match the finishes of the LS50 Meta and the LS50 Wireless II wireless speakers. They are available in Carbon Black, Titanium Grey, and Mineral White, plus Royal Blue Special Edition (LS50 Meta), and Crimson Red Special Edition (LS50 Wireless II).

I've owned at least 10 different sets of speaker stands. Some more expensive, some less. The S2's are the best - best designed, best manufactured and best looking. Using with LS50 Meta's. If you're wondering if they're worth the money, they are.
