Beautiful stand- something I'd never thought I'd say about a stand. Beautiful when put together with the matching speakers. A visual statement.

Its all about the money

Would be awesome but the price increase was not expected. I have them in my cart the next day the price was more. I asked if I could get the old price as I have spend several grand at Crutchfield the past year. They said no. quickly So this is my last deal with Crutchfield and KEF bottom line not worth the cost mid tier quality made overseas. Sick of that.

They're fantastic

They are absolutely gorgeous with KEF R3 Metas. I'm so happy I bought these stands. There several less-expensive stands but those are no near the functional quality and aesthetics of KEF R3 Metas stands. Trust me you'll be the happiest with these stands over anything else.

Very solid stands that mate perfectly with the R3, but the threads are a little rough. More expensive than they should be.

Great Stands for KEF R3's

These stands are very solid as well as good looking. The KEF R3 Metas in Piano Black look great. I did replace the spiked feet (I have hardwood floors and don't trust the spikes and pads) with some Soundcare Superspikes, fit perfectly.

Necessity for the R3

I would expect better quality control on the finish at this price. Mine arrived with several visible dark spots on one of the bases, which was a real bummer after dropping almost $800 with tax. That said they are very solid and well made structurally. Don't skimp, these are a necessity and should be figured into the purchase price of the R3 to get the most out of them. Ofc can go with another stan, but these bolt right up and aesthetically pair well.

Expensive, but great qua

Rock solid. Heavy gauge steel. Top plates bolt to threads in base of R3s. Threads on base accept Gaia isolation feet. Expensive, but no regrets. Perfect mates for R3 metas.

Speaker Stands as architecture

These things are heavy and strong. They are secure and will not fall over unless the bulls of Pamplona run through your living room. I was a bit embarrassed at the price but the wife said to "get what you want so I don't have to hear about it again".

S3 for R3 Meta

The stands are solid and well built, but the included tools are prone to stripping, so it would be a good idea to have your own set.

Fantastic upgrade!

For the past tear, I had my Kef R3s on some desktop stands on my TV console, but really wanted to spread them apart to widen the soundstage. After considering a bunch of alternatives, I decided on the S3 stands. I'm so glad I made that choice! These look great, they're exceptionally stable, and make my R3s sound significantly better.

Amazing craftsmanship, heavy duty.

These stands are solid, heavy duty, good quality, and definitely amazing craftsmanship. They match perfectly with my KEF bookshelf speakers. Definitely recommended.

Excellent build quality, fantastic shipping and service

Received this in only 2 business days from Crutchfield - what a service! Stands could not be higher quality - durable materials, rock solid even before adding sand to the base, great cable management. Well worth the price!

Great stand but assembly requires some finesse

Very high quality stand, but assembly had a couple of hiccups. First was when I attempted to thread a bolt through the base plate into a threaded tube welded onto the column. Turning the bolt was very difficult, and I was afraid I would strip the threads. Second was when I struggled to bolt the speakers onto the stand. Lining up the holes of the baseplate with the speaker while lying on my back was not easy. It took a lot of time to eventually thread each bolt into the speaker without stripping anything.

S3 Speaker Stand

Beautiful stand for the R3. And solid as a rock. I reviewed the R7 previously as part of my 7 channel set-up and really just wanted to add this for the guy who commented about this having a "cheap logo decal". It actually has a very nice embossed logo (same as all the speakers) with a protective plastic covering. You can throw that part away. (It took me a few weeks to notice this. lol)

KEF S3 with R3 Meta

Arrived double boxed and in perfect shape, all parts in the box. Stands worked perfectly with my KEF R3Meta! Bolted right to the bottom of the speakers making a tower speaker like combo. Extremely stable setup.

Purpose made for the KEF R3 Meta Speakers. Creates a well built , solid base. I filled them with KEF Inert filler to increase the density of the platform. They have a good modern look and the speaker stand height place the tweeter/midrange at the ideal height.

Excellent stands

These stands are a perfect and necessary addition to the KEF Meta R3s. They are the perfect height for listening and they are constructed very well so you won't need sand filler. I also love the fact that you can run the speaker wires inside them. Assembly is a breeze and they attach to the speakers with supplied screws. A must have

Not cheap, but the quality and precision manufacture are impressive. I was skeptical there would also be an improvement in sound but there definitely was.

KEF R3 stands

Excellent quality, heavy gauge steel, matches the speakers nicely, has the cable management system, the cable goes through the bottom of the floor plate and comes out at the top. Plenty of room for large cables. The assembly was quite easy, all the tools needed are included.
