This custom dash kit is designed to give your Club Car Precedent golf cart all the style and sound you want. The kit features a perfectly sized cutout for a gauge-mount receiver, plus two 6-1/2" cutouts on either side for a pair of speakers. Made from rugged ABS plastic, this kit is easy to install, looks great, and stands up to life in the great outdoors. Available in your choice of finishes, including a black paintable model that you can customize to suit your style.

VIP Golf Cars makes some of the best golf cart accessories around, and they're located just up the road from us in Elkton, Virginia. So it only makes sense that we'd eventually get together and create dash kits that can please any audiophile. We worked with VIP's engineering team to create kits that let you install the stereo gear you want in your golf cart.
Easy installation
The Club Car Precedent kit is styled to match your 2004-2018 golf cart and designed to replace the stock dash with minimal fuss. You can install it in an hour or so using basic handtools, in fact. With two cupholders for your beverages, a storage tray, and an underdash cubby for other gear, you'll enjoy improved functionality along with outstanding sound.
The steering shaft, ignition key, and a USB/AUX port like the Rockford Fosgate PAUX, are pre-cut, but if you need to add switches for additional gear (extra lighting, battery meters, etc.), you'll find space for additional cut-outs.
The speaker openings will accommodate a variety of 6-1/2" speakers, but speaker cut-out diameter varies by model. Be sure to compare the cut-out diameter of the speaker and the speaker openings before ordering.
Note: You can stash your phone or other device in the storage tray, of course, but if you're on uneven terrain, a more secure solution might be a good idea. Check out our collection of phone mounts to find the one that's best for your cart.

Club Car Precedent Dash: This custom dash from V.I.P. is designed to specifically fit 2004-2018 Club Car Precedent golf carts. It features pre-cut openings for a gauge-style marine digital media receiver and two 6.5" marine speakers, as well as your golf carts steering column, ignition switch, and an optional USB/Aux port. It also offers two cup-holders, a tray holder, and a storage pocket.
Note: Gauge-style marine digital media receiver, 6.5" marine speakers, and USB/Aux port are not included and all sold separately.
Gauge-Style Receiver Opening: The V.I.P. Club Car Precedent Dash features a round opening to mount a gauge-style marine digital media receiver. The round cut-out opening measures 3.0" in diameter and will accommodate a receiver with up to 12" in depth. It will fit most gauge-style marine digital media receivers.

Two 6.5" Speaker Openings: The V.I.P. Club Car Precedent Dash features two round openings that will fit many 6.5" marine speakers. The two round speaker cut-outs measure 5.3125" in diameter and will accommodate a speaker depth up to 3.5". The speakers frame & grille diameter should not exceed 7.125".
Notes:
- Speakers must have a cutout diameter of 5.31" or less to fit inside the speaker openings. If you have any questions, please consult our sales team for the best speaker fit.

Other Cut-outs: There is also a cut-out for the steering wheel shaft, ignition key, and an optional USB/Aux panel-port (sold separately - see accessory list). You may need to modify the cut-out (0.875" in diameter) for the optional USB/Aux panel-port. The ignition key cutout diameter is 0.75". In addition, there is space to make your own custom cut-outs for light switches, meters, gauges, etc.
More Features: The V.I.P. Club Car Precedent Dash is equipped with two cup holders for your drinks, a tray holder for your change, and a storage pocket for your smartphone and sunglasses. The cup holders, tray, and pocket all feature non-slip padding to keep your things securely in place.
- Two Cup Holders: Each cup holder measures 3" in diameter and 2.5" tall.
- Tray Holder: The tray holder measures 5" wide x 0.75" high x 2.5" deep
- Storage Pocket: The storage pocket measures 8" wide x 2.5" high x 5" deep

This dash kit was a perfect fit for my 2009 Club Car Precedent. The only thing that required modification was the gauge style receiver I chose was 3.15" diameter so I had to shave off a little more of the cutout with a dremel. Otherwise this was perfect!
