Product Research

Features

Subwoofer Isolation Stand: The IsoAcoustics ISO Series ISO-200SUB is built with a unique, patented isolation technology that provides a high-degree of isolation and manages the subwoofer's energy to deliver authentic, uncolored sound. This next generation of subwoofer stand effectively eliminates energy transfer into the supporting surfaces. Bass becomes tighter and your subwoofer is enabled to perform to its full potential.

  • Dimensions: 7.8125" (w) x 3.8125" (h) x 9.9375" (d)
  • Supported Weight: 75 lbs.

Note: Use the IsoAcoustics Calculator to determine which ISO series stand is right for your subwoofer.

PIF Principles: PIF principles are incorporated in the IsoAcoustics ISO Series ISO-200SUB.

  • Placement: Reduces reflections by raising the subwoofer off the supporting surfaces and away from adjacent surfaces.
  • Isolation: Reduces vibration and energy from exciting other objects through decoupling the subwoofer from the supporting surfaces.
  • Focus: Focuses bass frequencies with more definition. This contributes to more clarity in the lower frequencies.

Would this work with a Klipsch R-8sw?

I don't think you'd want a bottom firing subwoofer on this platform unless you can be sure the speaker won't contact the platform.
kevin  Jan 06, 2021
A
Sir, I would recommend taking the proper measurements and/or checking on whether the Iso 200 Sub can handle the weight of the Sub
tyrone  Jan 04, 2021
A
You would have to know the dimensions of your sub and the ISO.

Q
Are these made of plastic or aluminum? What is the difference, besides tilt option, between this and the Aperta 200 speaker stands? I know this is made for a sub, but I don't see any difference in the two products besides tilt option.

The structural pieces are plastic, the legs are steel, the feet on the top and bottom are a grippy, rubbery type of material. They seem pretty sturdily made.

I'm going to try to answer your question the best I know how! This stand is made of plastic. This stand has shock absorbers. I can't compare them to the Aperta 200, as I never own them....... I hope that helped

Dear David, unfortunately I don't have any experience about the Pro Sub 800, becausa I using whit a SONOS Sub..... Best regards

Just know that this sub stand is a lot smaller than you might expect. Think about an inch smaller (length and width) than a sheet of paper. It's about three inches tall. I have a Polk 12" home theater sub and I would need at least three of these if I wanted the sub on a stand.

Q
Will this work with a down firing sub?
andreus  Dec 15, 2019
2 answers
A
Your best option with a down firing sub would be to look at SVS subwoofer (svsound dot com) sound isolation feet. The are a steel cup with a rubbery donut that replace your subwoofer's factory feet. I have them on my SVS sub and they work really well. They are not brand specific, so they will work on any sub provided the bolts the ship with it work or if you can acquire the correct bolts to attach them.
nathan  Feb 20, 2021
A
99.9 percent chance not. It seems to me with the dimensions of the iso 200 it would sit right on your subwoofers cone. I use it with a front firing sub and its great in that application. Good luck!!

Q
Will this fit Sonos Sub?

Yes, this stand fit whit SONOS Sub, but just horizontality.....We using like this way in the last year, and no any problem.
attila  Mar 13, 2020
A
Sorry! I I'm not familiar with that Sub....
lonnie  Dec 04, 2019
A
Not really for Vertical. But the Sub user manual say, "you have option instal the Sonos Sub vertical or horizontal. " I installed the Sub like horizontal, because for me it was better option in my media room. After three week from the installation, I have enough experience I say: this two guys working together wonderfully.

will this work on Martin Logan 700sub?
joaquin  Oct 12, 2019

Hi Joaquin, thank you for your question. The IsoAcoustics ISO 200 would be a recommended subwoofer support, that would work with the Martin Logan Dynamo 700W.

Hi, I have Bose Acousticmass 300 woofer. Can this product accommodate the size of the woofer? Kindly confirm

This stand was a LOT smaller than I was anticipating. It is a couple of inches smaller on each side than a sheet of paper and was much too small for my PolK HTS12 subwoofer. My sub measures about 20x16 and I would have need three of the stands to hold my sub.
james  Aug 22, 2019
A
Yes it will accomodate with no problem, just follow the directions in manual.
yaroslav  Aug 22, 2019
A
I Believe that it will work well for most subs Due to the Flexible Rubber DeCouplers just make sure that it Equally Centered front to back and Side to Side Youll Just Love It

Q
Will this product work in the automotive sound system industry?
chad  Mar 05, 2019

A
Not in a moving vehicle. It relies on gravity alone to keep the speaker in place.
jason h  Mar 05, 2019
A
Maybe. It's meant to prevent vibrations from an object placed on top of it from reaching the surface touching the bottom bbn of it. If that's what you need it to do it will work fine.
robert  Mar 05, 2019
A
My stand is made of aluminum with rubber suction cups. The only plastic pieces is the 4 couplings to hold the rubber cups.
yaroslav  Aug 22, 2019
A
Stand is made plastic with metal posts.
