JL Audio encases the Metawire cable in a clear, heat- and chemical-resistant jacket, then covers the cable with a second colored outer jacket. Run the Metawire to your power and ground connections, then strip the outer jacket off your ground cable — instant color coding, with no waste. The oxygen-free, fine-strand copper cable is also rated for marine use.

Overview: The JL Audio MetaWire power cable features a convertible outer jacket for easy conversion from positive to ground wire. The MetaWire power cable is available in a blue over clear and red over clear jacket. The Red or Blue outer jacket is designed to identify your positive power connections while the clear inner jacket is designed to identify your ground power connections. It is constructed of highly flexible 99.999% pure oxygen-free, fine-strand copper to true AWG specifications and tinned for corrosion resistance. The power cable's compact strand orientation and high strand count (1,862 copper strands) provide excellent conductivity while maintaining flexibility. The JL Audio MetaWire power cable is available in 1/0 AWG, 2 AWG, 4 AWG, and 8 AWG by the foot.
