Our take on the StreetWires BAGMT

This side-mount battery post adapter enables your GM truck battery to accommodate both the vehicle's factory cable and the power cable for your audio system's components. Machined from solid brass, this rugged adapter post provides a precision fit and an elegant look for your installation.

To install, unscrew the existing battery post screw, and screw in this replacement post. Slip the factory cable harness over the post, and then use the top screw for your audio power cable terminator. Includes a nut and lock washer. Overall Length: 2-1/4". Warranty: lifetime.

Battery adapters

Just like the review said the adapter bottomed out before it tightened on the battery cable. I was prepared with some stacking washers and solved the problem. Othe than that they worked fine.
Pros:
Good stong and secure connection for power cables
Cons:
They don't fit like they should.

The only reason I gave this product 1 star is because it did not fit my 2001 Chevy K1500 side treminal battery. It was way too long and bottomed out in the battery before it tightened up on the cable. Other than that I bet it would have worked great.

I needed a longer bolt on my '95 GMC truck because the factory terminal was not long enough to add an amp hookup. The price is a bit much for a battery terminal, but it works well and conveniently puts the power wire on the back.
