StreetWires Low Noise 2 Stereo Patch Cable

Written By Joshua, Alexandria, VA on Thursday, October 19, 2006

Well worth the price. I ran 3 sets of these from my Alpine 9856 to the trunk without any problems. These cables are very flat and run under the carpet and around objects very well without any problems. The remote wire is nice, but I preffer to run my own of a little thicker gauge.

This cable is good for the price. I call it price efficient. I like that the remote is ran along with cable. I would buy the next level up if I bought another one.

nothing wrong with these cables!

Written By mark, here on Wednesday, July 20, 2005

the cable isn't going to make your bass muddy! cables are cables. it's a very well known fact that the more expensive cables are just hype and glamor and don't offer any "superior sound" what so ever. Its all just marketing. Its also a well known fact that companies that make a range of products like subs, and amps, and interconnects, and head units, etc. make the majority of their money on the interconects cuz they are all very cheap to make and they market so much BS into how good they sound that people actually buy them.

Budget Friendly, but Muddy

Written By G-Man, Lakewood, CA on Saturday, February 12, 2005

These patch cables will work in a pinch. They are suitable for first-time set-up or for those that have already spent their budget and just need one more cable. One found its way into my system this way and it's still there. I have been using it to send the subwoofer preout signals from my Alpine CDA-7894 (#500CDA7894) to my Rockford Fosgate Power 501bd (#575501BD) and have never had a problem with the connections, but I've been experiencing some muddy frequencies so I'll be replacing it soon with my new Zero Noise 3 cables to see if that clears it up. I found the attached remote turn-on lead to be a nuisance because it didn't fit in well with my installation. Probably should have moved up to the ZN250 (#211ZN250), but this cable came in a kit so I used it.
