StreetWires 4-gauge set-screw Power Rings provide a quick, crimpless installation. Just insert the bare wire end, then use a small socket screwdriver to tighten the heavy-duty, gold-plated locking screw for a strong connection to your amp's power and ground cables.
Set-screw rings are precision machined from high-conductivity brass with an attractive, corrosion-resistant Diamond Plate Nickel plating. You can reuse these durable rings if you upgrade your system or move your components to a different vehicle. Warranty: lifetime.
StreetWires 4-gauge Set Screw Power Rings® Reviews
What's in the box?
- Two 4-gauge crimpless power rings (one has a red band and the other has a black band)
- Two 1.25" lengths of clear heat-shrink tubing
Overview: StreetWires Power Ring Terminals ensure that your system's components will get more power with less voltage loss and heat buildup than your average terminal connection. Two-step termination provides the cleanest connection with the best power cable protection. The body of each connector is screen printed with a colored band. One connector has a red band, while the other connector is imprinted with a black band. Colored bands ensure correct polarity identification.
Installation: When installing these power rings, follow the instructions listed below:
- Loosen the set screw with a 4mm Allen wrench (not included)
- Push the 4-gauge wire (with approximately 1/2" of insulation stripped off the end) into the lower section of the connector
- Tighten the set screw with an Allen wrench to secure the wire
