Our take on the StreetWires PS04BSi

Everything you need for excellent power delivery and signal transfer to your amplifier is contained in this premium quality wiring kit from StreetWires. Choose your kit according to the total RMS power of your amplifiers. (And remember, if you're installing a multi-channel amp, you may need another patch cable.)

This PS04BSi 4-gauge kit includes an RCA patch cable and blue power cable — it's designed to accommodate an amplifier with a fuse rating of up to 80 amps. StreetWires includes their best power cable (UltraFlow) and a heavy-duty solid brass fuse holder (with 80-amp fuse). The RCA patch cables feature ultra-compact connectors (saving you space in those cramped quarters behind the dash) and a built-in remote turn-on lead (saving you time during the installation).

The kit includes the following:

  • 18 feet of 4-gauge blue power cable with attached ring terminal
  • waterproof, in-line, solid-brass fuse holder (with diamond-plate nickel finish) installed on power cable with 80-amp AGU fuse
  • 5 feet of 4-gauge silver grounding cable
  • one 16.4-foot RCA patch cable (clear jacket, silver conductors, with molded black connectors) with built-in remote turn-on wire
  • assorted connectors and spade terminals
  • 6 plastic wire ties
  • lifetime warranty

nice kit

i didnt want to buy the cheapest kit (EFX) and i also didnt see the point in spending all the money for the expensive rockford ones. so i got the middle, and its everything you need to install an amp. i hooked my infinity 611a class D amp up and these wires work perfect. had it for about 3 months no problems yet. nice product

Excellent kit

Written By DSL, Northwest Indiana on Thursday, July 28, 2005

For connecting a single amp this kit has everything. The patch cables are a little thin but they still sound great. I'm using this to power a sony xm2200gtx bridged into two 12" subs. The patch cables were a little long for my application (ION), but they are made to fit a wider variety of vehicles. I had about three feet of extra patch to hide, but that will also depend on how you route them. Since my battery is in my trunk I didn't need the full length of power cable, one bit a warning; 4 gauge cable is fairly thick. regular wire cutters won't work. I used a hack saw with reasonably clean results. The crimps connectors are good if you know how to use them, however i replaced the heatshrink with a little better quality. the stuff that's included looks good but doesn't shrink that well.

overall, this kit has everything you'll need with only a few flaws. for the price however, it is an excellent compromise for someone looking for a low cost way to get quality power to a high power amp.
