Features General Overview: This is a single amplifier wiring kit that includes the power and ground cables, patch cable, turn-on lead and accessories required to install one amplifier. Speaker wire is sold separately. Power High Performance Series Power/Ground Cable: The power and ground cable feature 735 strands of braided copper wire. The power wire has a red translucent jacket and the ground wire has a translucent black jacket. In-line Fuse Holder: The included in-line fuse holder attached to the power cable comes with a 40-amp AGU-type fuse. For mounting, the fuse holder snaps into the supplied mounting base, which has two mounting holes (mounting screws not supplied). The fuse holder has the following dimensions: L=3.248", W=1.538", H=1.196". Interconnect Cable: The supplied RF Twister interconnect cable uses spiral shield inter-conductors made of tinned, pure crystal, oxygen-free copper in a side-by-side configuration. It features a translucent clear virgin PVC outer jacket covering a tinned silver cosmetic over-braid with translucent virgin PVC molded connectors and gold-plated tips. Only problem I have found, which could just be opeator error, is that the bracket where the fuse is held somehow got complete stuck in the center plastic piece. I am not sure how it happened - but now I am unable to screw both sides of the fuse casing because one end of the fuse hangs out too far. This is now being fixed by using electrical tape to secure the fuse and that seems to work fine. Other than that, its a great product and very easy to install. Was this review helpful? Everything went smoothly, wires were long enough and conections up front were great. My complaint would be there was nothing for me to connect the wires to the amp???? I had to purchase my own connectors. Other amp wiring kits come with connectors. I thought to be a complete kit it would have come with connectors for the ground and power wire to connect to the amp. Having never installed an amp in the car before I was very pleased(and lucky) that everything I needed to correctly hook up the subs was included. This package is part of RF's Power line, which is their middle product line, and has very good components in just the right quantities. The cables were long enough (quite a feat in a car as long as the Mark VIII), high quality, and were the correct sizes for my application.
