Logan: Here at CES 2014, I've got Matt here from Kenwood who's going to tell us about Kenwood's new smartphone connectivity in some of their new multimedia receivers.
Matt: Yeah, so for 2014 Kenwood multimedia, or certain Kenwood multimedia receivers, will have HDMI input for smartphone connectivity for iPhone and then Android phones that support MHL. So, through the HDMI input the phone display will actually be duplicated or mirrored onto the Kenwood display. So anything that you are looking at on your smartphone will then be displayed onto the Kenwood receiver.
This really will work well with applications like Waze, which is a navigation app, and you'll actually be able to control the application from our touch screen, thus being able to hide your smartphone for a safe and easy access and an inexpensive navigation solution.
